  • The magnificent StraitEdge Angler Pro Kayak from Advanced Elements - find out what makes this an awesome inflatable fishing kayak!
In this short video I will cover the most important features you might be looking for in an inflatable fishing kayak:
Durability - can it withstand fish, hooks, knives etc?
Casting - can you stand up to cast?
Comfort - how supportive and comfortable is the raised folding chair?
Mounts - what can you attach? Eg. Rod holders, fish finders etc.
Paddling performance - how fast and straight does the StraitEdge Angler Pro Kayak go?
Capacity - what if you are large? Or you want to take a lot of gear? How much space and weight can this fishing kayak take?
Rating - is the StraitEdge Angler Pro kayak rated for open ocean? Is it self-bailing?
Portability - how big is the kayak when it is packed up into its bag? What does it weigh? How do you set it up and pack it away?
Motor attachment - what if you don’t want to paddle? Is this kayak compatible with a motor or propeller of some kind?
As you can see, there is quite a lot to consider when it comes to getting a quality inflatable fishing kayak.
I hope this video helps you to decide whether the StraitEdge Angler Pro kayak is the right fit for you.

Oh well I already purchased the AirVolution and ended up converting it into a fishing kayak via 3M 5200 Marine adhesive to install my necessary mounts & purchased the Pro seat for my AirVolution & so now it's essentially a bona fide fishing kayak & from the looks of it the AirVolution setup goes much quicker then this Angler Pro, also the AirVolution is probably more nimble on the water. I can also stand up fish from the AirVolution. I say the only drawback is storage but I'm not one of these fishermen that pack a ton of gear.

What adapter do you use to mount attachments to the rail? Not seeing that listed on their site.

2k kayak, nice platform. but there's competitive prices from different manufactures .

@@niksmith6477 ……. You are correct. There are different inflatables at competitive prices and different purposes. The Osprey 1436 is made by fishermen and has been tested in the worst conditions. These guys bought and tried many of the ones out there and improved them. Multiple layers of material in all wear areas so it can be safely dragged over stuff and the 20’ of 3 sided top entry gear track is a game changer for configuring the Osprey 1436. You can mount and un mount accessories anywhere you want. Inside, out side and on top and can change it in seconds.

Yeah, but it's 85 pounds / 39kg ... way too heavy! Generally speaking, people that are looking for an inflatable kayak are looking for something light. Cheers, Emily.

@@emilypeyton6647 You are right …… it weighs 85 lbs with 20 ft of 4 sided gear track, heavy duty engine and power pole mounts, foot steering stuff and extra layers of material to make it more puncture resistance. Some people just want something to float around. The Kuda is good for that. It’s a throw and go. The Osprey 1436 is for serious fishermen and has a ton of advantages you don’t get with the Kuda or any other inflatable. I have already posted those in previous posts. Oh and I know cause I have both

@@rhahn427I bought that beast and sold it. Way too Heavy, needs to be more cumbersome for most people. I'm 6'1 235lbs hit the gym 5 days a week 2 hrs a day so it's not an issue for me but most people are not going to want to put up with that nonsense.
