It was sooooo good! Though i don't think i described it well enough ahahhha it was like a giant cheese fry and i loved it hahahaha i got a lot of work to do if i ever want to cross over into food content hahahahahhaa
We have those robots at George Mason! They are SOOO cute! Here they are food delivery drones for some local restaurants. They work with an app, and can self navigate with very similar technology to self-driving cars. :)
Generally yes, it is helpful to reach out to professors! I have a whole playlist on admissions that might be helpful to figure out what to say and how to find professors (link here: ruclips.net/video/SbDA7IrNGqo/видео.html ) I hope this is helpful to you! Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thank you for commenting!
Hi Brisa, I applied for the PhD program in linguistics at UCLA. I am just curious how much stipend you get, what expenses you have, and it is possible to live in LA without a car? I am an international student and I do not have a driver's license and so not know how to drive so I am worried about it. Thank you!
Hi! So stipends vary department to department and are impacted by if you have an academic student employee placement. It is possible to go to UCLA without a car you would just need to make sure you apply to grad housing. These locations are relatively close or have very good free transportation to campus. Also, I think it is important to say at UCLA international students experience extra barriers (Again though it may vary from department to department) because they are only allowed to work a very limited amount of hours and they have to be on campus. I think you would probably really benefit going to the linguistics department's website and emailing maybe one or two grad students already in the program to ask them questions about funding and support. This will give you the best idea of what you might be getting into!
Hi Marie, I'm an international student who wants to apply to UCLA graduate school. My field is education. Your videos are amazing. Please can I reach you via email?
Hi! Ifeel so honored that you watch my videos and want to reach out! My email is contact@brisamarie.com but i don't do application consultations because I'm not an expert and will be off the grid living abroad very very soon! I'm also not very familiar with the education department but if you have very specific questions about the program, i would reach out to grad students current there now! Their info should be somewhere online!

Also depends on the school. I believe Northwestern pays the same minimum rate to all students, regardless of program.
100% it's always important to inquire with each school/ department to make sure the info is as accurate as possible
