I was a Pole Vaulter in High School and had that EXACT same thing happen at a State Track Meet! Bar wobbled for almost 30 seconds and the wind was blowing too, so it helped it wobble more and then fell... It's heartbreaking because you did gave what you thought was your all.... But, she is a trooper! She got right back up there, regained her concentration and faith and conquered it! WELL DONE!

It's amazing to see how mentally strong women are. Being able to summon up that inner strength after being disappointed, embarrassed and even in doubt is so impressive and I will always have so much respect for that powerful drive they have. I've seen it in my sons mom and so many other women and it's very inspiring. To be clear Im saying this in a genuine way. It's amazing to see how mentally strong women are. Being able to summon up that inner strength after being disappointed, embarrassed and even in doubt is so impressive and I will always have so much respect for that powerful drive they have. I've seen it in my sons mom and so many other women and it's very inspiring. To be clear Im saying this in a genuine way. I am someone who has a strong work ethic and drive and I am generally successful in my pursuits but I still feel like women just have a special ability to persevere that Is unique to women and probably their greatest strength.
