After hearing that audio I’m positive it’s happening . Darren England has conned majority of the public with his intentional incompetence but I can see through it .
It's nothing to do with "errors" it's all deliberate. The refereeing in that game was enough evidence & the VAR tape. It's clear to hear they're deliberately vague & confused sounding on that offside call on purpose. It's no coincidence MC barely get these "errors". Theyre mostly always the beneficiary of them.
115 charges for city, the refs only home from the UAE then that happens in a crucial match were liverpool are flying wakeup. Establishment against Liverpool years. Rodri handball at goodison 😂
How can they not have a process for correcting a mistake during the game? How hard is it to ask the ref to give the other team the ball and let them score?
The day MC lose & LFC (their closest rival) are poised to go top. Coincidentally it was the day the worst refereeing performance in PL history happens. And by officials who just returned from the UAE. LP were never going to be to allowed to get 3pts on Saturday.
It depends on who you believe is corrupt, but football has been CORRUPT for many DECADES, and many fans that follow the game knows it. If you say you didnt know then you are NOT a fan of football. I dont think 99.9% of the referees are corrupt, but definitely the higher ups that % definitely decreases by considerable amounts. You would need a full show just about agents and owners.
yeah, I think there's this idea that an entire body has to be in on a conspiracy. It's rarely a whole body, and in successful conspiracies, the fewer involved, the better. It takes a few key members to sway a league and all these that are telling LFC to "move on, match is over" are providing the cover upon which these conspiracies rely.
You cannot be in charge of VAR and simultaneously not know that it was flagged as offside. There is simply no way. There was no confusion. There was a thinly veiled attempt at pretending it was a balls up. Not having it. It still stinks. Where is the rest of the audio? Why is is cut off after the second swear? I want the rest of it.
Many countries in Europe have teams that have benefitted in this way over the years. The more money there is in the game the more chance of corruption. I have no doubt that every country in European football has elements of corruption and the PL is no exception,. Remember the days of managers taking money in paper bags and the main ruling bodies Uefa and Fifa are prime examples of how endemic corruption is in the game. No chance of ever eradicating it now it has gone too far and yes we have all been complicit in letting it happen.
when Collina took an advertising contract with Opel he had to give up being a ref in the Seria A as AC Milan were sponsored by Opel and it was deemed a conflict of interest. by that logic - ANY ref/var official who goes to saudi to officiate a game there has to resign from the premier league due to the conflict of interest with the fact that saudi own man shitty YNWA
Great discussion lads. Another area of corruption, which deserves it's own hour is doping. When you consider the money and interest in football it stands to reason to expect the most sophisticated doping practices in sport. Yet all we get is the very occasional ban like that of Paul Pogba's most recently. Why isn't there more reporting on this? Now that pressing and peak athleticism are so common for modern football, surely the desire/need to dope effectively has risen in prominence too. Operation Puerto and the like must be endemic within the game.
Absolutely love you two lads was only watching Anfield Agenda because he keeps it real but y’all do aswell love both the podcast with y’all wish yall did more content but keep up the good quality videos and breaking them down awesome work huge fan up the reds
(1) Incorrectly offside. (2) 1st yellow card on Jota. (3) Ref side job in UAE to refereeing games there prior to the game, where is Man City owner from??? (4) Freezing screen VAR on Jones. (5) Incorrectly given corner kick when the last touch made by Tottenham player.. I'm still trying to digest on how those incidents can just be called human error instead of possible corruption. PL has lost it's credibility for sure.
Remember Harold Schumacher the German keeper battered that French guy clean out no sending off for the keeper no free kick in 1982 World Cup how did they get away with that 🤷🏻♂️
Patrick Battiston, in the semi-final. I remember watching that match as a kid and could hardly believe that all the officials just ignored and/or missed it - and it's *still* the most egregiously disgraceful, instance of unpunished deliberate foul play that I've ever seen. Ever!

Loved the Puskás fact of the week. It was a bit of an urban legend growing up round the corner from Bankfield House, one of the best players in the world turning up for a charity footy match at South's ground. But what the great man also did was meet all the young local scallies who went to Bankfield House for a kick around beforehand, then ref a game between two teams of of lads old enough to be apprentices (the Butchers v Sparks game, although other trades were also represented). Then after the game at holly Park, along with most of the other players taking part and most of the fans, went on a pub crawl around Garston Village then round Garston under the bridge, ending up in the Woodcutters Club on Window Lane with my Granddad and all the other Garston dockers. A top fella according to my Granddad. Sounds. Anyway, is it just me or have the events of the weekend given you both a feeling we are going to win the league this year (replay or no)?
I keep hearing people and pundits say ‘The Liverpool mentality to keep persevering through adversity..’ Mate if I had copped a red which was first called a yellow, then an offside which was on, then my player got injured through a tackle from behind and no card was given, and combine that with pretentious red cards of which one was successfully appealed and the most recent one not, it’s fair to say I’d be shot. Done. I’m scared for the next few games because this dictatorship where the refs are arrogant and answer to no, kill your ‘never say die, never walk alone’ mentality. It’s not just one game. I’m a fan of football in general but am finding it hard to watch with all that’s going on. I just am. Chelsea did not deserve a red either. Missed calls in the city match. It all started with Onana first match of the season. Set a bad precedence. It’s just incompetence. Howard Web needs to step down. The fact that he doesn’t and is unaccountable. No governing body. Dictatorship. Shows you they can do what they want and they are IMO killing the game. Goldbridge said it best recently. They ruined a perfectly good game. It started so well. And Pep also said it well. They are not here as the star of the movie. The players are meant to be the stars of the movie.
Hiya Gareth, boss show. One thing, though... South Liverpool are very much still going, it's just Holly Park that isn't there! They play on Jericho Lane now.
I already fear what is going to happen with this unconscious bias because every 50/50 away from Anfield we won't get and maybe we get some for the home games. I genuinely believe betting patterns should be investigated in particular to betting for Spurs first goal because I can't believe anyone could be that bad in their job but I don't think anything like this can happen again otherwise Webbe loses his job so fingers crossed we may get some fairness but this needs more than one club taking on the refs. Pgmol, stockley park.....do me a favor. They think they are spies or something! They are just Ref's and shouldn't be noticed! VAR needs to be independent and audio transparency is a must moving forward but I don't see a replay!
Interesting aspect of the Barcelona case is that if you are a Real Madrid fan it would probably actually benefit your club if they were only given a relatively light punishment. The league is already struggling financially, it would be completely dead without Barcelona as the rivalry between the two makes up probably 90% of the outside interest.
