That repair had to be done. It could have been done with anger, stress, and tears or, as you did, with joy, dancing, and laughter. So many choose to handle hurdles the first way. It looks like you aren't letting better be the enemy of good. I'm so glad there's solid structure that can be used to screw in braces and blocks to anchor the walls to. It sounds like you're going to have to peel back the outer skin in a number of areas to get to where you need to do structural repair. The plus side of that is you'll be able to add insulation. My suggestion, since I know you're on a tight budget, would be fiberglass batting in the walls, and if you can manage the expense, expanding foam at seams where walls meet walls and walls meet floor. I know the latter isn't the most 'green' choice, but it will seal against drafts and help keep critters like mice out.
Thank you so much for this incredibly kind and thoughtful comment - really appreciate you taking the time and love your suggestions! Insulating where he put shiplap on the walls is going to be a noodle indeed. You gotta watch the next video - I’ll share how we started taking off the corrugated metal and discovered how he did some of the framing (it’s wild). Thank you again for being here!
When life hands you lemons make lemonade. This is a perfect example of this. Family and friendship are precious and we have limited time here on earth so don't waste it. Great job thanks for sharing, love from New Zealand.
Wow. You're so good at getting the emotions going. I experienced the joy along with you guys. Loved that you guys dance to my era of music lol. In my humble opinion, music from the '70s and '80s was the best. So overjoyed that you got the rig figured out. Character building experience.
The contrast from your road (and previous home) videos and these tiny home adventures is significant! It's interesting how life has its peaks and valleys/ebbs and flows. I'd say there's a balance in your collection of content. I hope all has gone well for you both this winter!
Indeed a bit different - in fact I was feeling a bit insecure and unsure about such a significant difference between my previous videos and this - I was at one point worried that people wouldn’t like the variation but now I’ve just decided that since this is about me sharing the full spectrum of my experience, I need to find an audience that likes all of it! Thank you for your continued support! Always look forward to your comments 😊
The walk through nature at the beginning is 🤌😍 🍂 What an adventure you are on!! I love how you and Noel jumped right in and trusted to learn as you go! ✨️ It looks so Beautiful where you are~ and to live next to your best friend?! That is precious! ❤
Wow!! So happy to see that it's working out OK - it's nearly midnight here but I had to keep watching to see what happened. So awesome to see your confidence growing in leaps and bounds through these new adventures 😄
