Yeah nice video and all but you went to a lot of trouble with the drill and totally unnecessary Once you remove the paper or polypropylene membrane and you get down to the center you place the whole speaker metal frame and all magnet facing down on a surface but with two plates that are thick or put it in the middle of your vise grip so this way that the under plate can fall out once you hit the center metal circle with a punch chisel. Then use a heat gun to melt the industrial glue from the metal piece that's still attached to the magnet ring, this will avoid any unnecessary chipping of the magnet through careless hacking and chipping trying to separate the magnet from the metal ring that goes up the center of the ring magnet., to all those who read this comment before you attempted to do the video posters way, you're very welcome 😁😉👍
I have a 6" car audio door speaker with heavily corroded backside but the fronts not bad, however it needs new connectors for the wires leading from it (you are touching them at 2:53 in your video...i need the parts under your fingers. What are they called? What methods can I use?
