    I had very bad stomach pains a couple years ago to make it worst i worked night shifts and had to use public transport to get to work . I saw a japanese shop and they were serving this miso soup . Anyways tried and had no more pains throughout the night of working and i felt so good

    Please update to reflect that the live probiotics in miso begin to die off between 109 and 115 degrees F...... "less than boiling" is no longer a good directive.....

    if pasteurization can eliminate beneficial flora, how come adding it to high temperature water on the miso soup doesn't have the same effect?

      Your milk already comes to you burned (cooked). Any food cooked sets off an immune response in the body like an invader is coming in and changes the molecular structure of it to being one step closer to plastic. Miso is BULL. Read my response above this one if you want some truth.

    I would make sure it all non gmo & whole salt ,like Redman or Himalayan salt.whole salt.not plain table salt.😮😮😅😅

      I have had dark miso in my fridge for three years and it was like the day i bought it. Started to wonder why this stuff didn't degrade and go bad, I suppose because of the good bacteria that dominated.

    Does heat effect the benefits of the miso?

      Cooking turns any food acidic and cuts the energy of the food in half. Fruits and veggies are the only foods that aren't acidic to begin with.

      @@pennyhardaway5628 Acidic and acid-forming aren't the same thing. Apple cider vinegar is hella acidic, but it has an alkaline effect on the body, as does the juice of lemons

      Miso originated from China, just like their Kanji, katana, caligraphy, matcha and basically their entire culture.

    I'm sorry, but I feel that "less" is sometimes "more". This type of vid is too long. Watching someone type the whole thing is rather boring. I either fast forward thru or end. Maybe, state the benefits, a few links for further review if viewers are interested in the subject, but, watching 15 to 20 minutes of typing? Got to go. I love the short sort of recipe videos though.

      They said that miso even lower blood pressure. Dr Michael Greger said the salt in miso is not harmful because there are othe beneficial ingredients in it that counteract the harmfull effect of salt. Make sure it is sea salt. Eat only one table spoon a day.
