Eric Cartman would have been disqualified in real life, not only for violating the Maximum Effort Rule, but for pretending to have a disability.

You can very much tell how much Matt and Trey love Brian De Palma's Scarface. You have this episode using the most popular song of that film, Cartman on stage in another episode doing the"say good night to the bad guy" and of course the Medicinal Fried Chicken where Colonel Sanders is basically Alejandro Sosa.

It's quite relatable, I work in a college with SEN (Specialist Educational Needs) students.
We often do sports like football(soccer) and hockey, and it's fair to say some of them kick my ass at it and put me to shame.
Just because they may not have the same mental capacity as the average person doesn't mean they're not physically fit.
Considering that his dad was on the Denver Broncos, you'd expect Cartman to be a better athlete.
Yeah but he was half Bronco and he only inherited the coolness of a Bronco not the physical feats of one.

i dont think south park has ever jumped the shark. some of the new episodes are hit or miss but still super smart satire. but these episodes around season 8 are the golden age of south park imo
Cartman is not really good at this type of olympics events, but at least he gave all the power he had. And you have to give credit to jimmy. He really crushed it out there!

I thought it was for the long jump, either way just because alot people aren't handicapped like the ones in the special Olympics, doesn't mean they're going to easily beat them in certain events, these people train year round to compete in these games
@@jamespaul6315 Tell that to Jackie Barrett (Canada), Hyeongrak Kim (South Korea), or Wonho Kang (South Korea), three of the greatest Special Olympics Powerlifters in Special Olympics World Games history known for being superior Squatters and Deadlifters, and they will make you think twice before saying that normal people can beat a Special Olympics athletes.
