Update on Ace - I have gotten him involved in playing some of the games ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU and I can see a difference in his confidence already! My other dog played along and he became intrigued - now its a daily part of our routine - about 3 times a day we do the shell game and the muffin tin game. I am so grateful for coming upon your training techniques!

So keeping 6 and already having 3 other dogs- that would border on animal hoarding. Please DONT ever take this advice. To anyone whos pup had a litter: the best thing you can do for the mama dog and the pups is to give them to people you trust and who are responsible enough to care for a puppy . The mama wont be sad when the dogs are gone because many dogs or wolves eventually stray from their pack to join another

They obviously know that.
Minimum. Even better if longer! Less likely to have behavioral issues. But I’m sure Joey and Daniel know this.

B. and E. They aren’t planning to take Pink with them when they go to his friend’s wedding in a few days. Besides the friend and her husband are probably going on a honeymoon and wouldn’t be able to care for a puppy. They know that the puppies have to be with their mother for at least 8 weeks and longer if possible.

Yeah it doesn't quite work like that sadly. Dogs who don't see each other for a while can become strangers. Also sometimes mother dogs turn on their pups and vise versa. However I've been very lucky to have a litter mate of my best friends who have mom, dad, and two sisters. They get along great. But they also see each other very often. It depends on the breed, the sex, the amount of time, a variety of things. It would be very cool to see everyone get along forever. That would be just awesome wouldn't it? Very cool thought.

RheannaBanana Dogs remember their mother and litter mates for 2 years on average. The mother doesn’t turn on her pups. I’ve seen many people reunite their pups with the mom and everything is fine. 😊 I hope they do bring them all back for a reunion one day.

Here is a little tip that helped us. If you gently pinch the scruf of the puppy it should go straight back down, if it holds its shapw they are dehydrated

All you guys commenting that you cant seperate Pink from her momma seem to not understand dogs. The bond lessens the older the puppies get (Sometimes) Alot of the time, the mom will treat her baby as just 'One of the pack' when they get a bit older and will need to 'Put her In her place' ... Sometimes the baby and mother can create aggression Instead of Love. It doesnt always work out.
