That's a real thing. Tons of couples go through at least a temporary spurt of increased frequency when the last one leaves the nest. The spontaneity comes back, with no need to rush, hide, or keep quiet, plus all the years of shared experience & skills are given full application. And if birth control is no longer needed, so much the better. The freedom to go to town at the drop of a hat with zero restraint or interruption can really put the spice back in your love life.

What’s crazy is the show ran for 9 Seasons. And have basically one of 5 story lines per episode. And somehow they got like 210 episodes out of it. And they did it so well.

Robert has relationship issues
Ray and Robert have mommy issues
Later on the Kids have issues.
Ray gets himself into trouble because he can’t control himself (Girlscout cookie lady)
I remember one day coming home to visit my senior parents who were in their 70's and I thought no one was home. Then I heard mom giggling from their bedroom. I knocked on the door and asked "everything ok?"... my dad yelled out "GET OUTTA HERE, come back in an hour" ... 😧... funny how some memories are just burnt right into the brain. I'll never forget that. 😂
