Looks like it was painted in too cold temp and too low pressure. Lovely find. "Some assembly required " 😉👍 Looking for a driver quality MGB presently. Have an eye on a 72. 🤞
That style of dashboard came in with the 1977 model year cars which came out of Abingdon from June 1976 onwards according to the Anders Clausager book Original MGB. An invaluable reference guide.
I am enjoying watching what you are doing. I bought a 1976 MGB in January, 2020 and have had a restoration garage here in Florida do a complete mechanical restoration for me as I am disabled and incapable of doing it myself. It cost me a little over 12K USD to have it done and now I am watching your videos to see what was done. I know it will be different but it will give me the gist.
Brilliant '77 B. Great condition and suspension looks perfect. Very solid!!I'm working on my '79 B. Engine rebuilt, wiring nearly complete. Love your videos!!
Hi, looking forward to seeing things take shape. we have a 1981 rubber bumper GT, personally we wouldn't convert to chrome bumpers but as the one you have there is part converted already then crack on.
We have been working on an MGBGT for a number of years but unfortunately my pal that worked with me had passed away and it was predominantly his car. So we now want to sell it, the body has been professionally repaired with lots of new panels etc and it is now in the primer state with the doors, bonnet and tailgate fitted with good panel gaps etc. it is a rolling chassis now with all the suspension and wheels fitted after total overall with new parts. 98% of the parts to finish the car are there with so many new parts too many to list. My question is what do you think it will sell for and how much did you pay for yours.
Hi Phil. I think the prices have completely changed since I bought the one I'm doing. It all depends on the year of the car and what else is going with it. I'm very happy to help if I can. Mine should be back from the bodyshop this week and then I can continue. DM me on instagram if you have it @pipedreamsclassics

Awesome. There are not enough MGB restore videos.
I have a 78 B, that I bought last year.
Please keep on going. Your verbal and video presentation of the future restoration is excellent, and to the point! So keep it up.

Great with the exception of watching the ramp go up all the way, other than that crack on mate!

Is jacking up on leaf springs ok?
That’s how I’ve done it before but is there a better way? I’m grateful for any suggestions.
I use just in front of the leaf springs
How much did you payed?:)
You sure are a talker. I've just brought my '78 B in to have the motor tuned proper. I really don't care how she looks, just want to drive her.
Sub... hi from Canada 🇨🇦! Not sure what flat caps means, however. Can you inform us poor commonwealth cousins?
