Helo mate I'm hoping you reply to my question ? I was a pretty good strong man 3 years ago but I ruptured my pec I had a operatin to fix it. And now I only bench 60 kg for like 20 to 30 reps on a good day I do not think I can go hevy tho as the pec and shoulder pulles. My son is a very keen shotputer and so was I as a kid. He's competing in the Welsh championships in 4 weeks and he's had no training only what I have lernt from your vidios mate and I thank you for that so brings me to my question do you think with my pec injery is it posible I could compete to win ? With just endurance on the bench and what could I do for power exercise o should i go for very strong legs I'm 38 so I'd be in the masters 35 to 39 class if you do not see o reply to my msg is there any one els could help any advise would help thank you ...

As for your pec injury, I would continue to train bench press but only with as much weight is safe for you. So focus on light weight and smooth and rhythmic reps. This will develop and keep strength in your upper body. Also spend time training your shoulder muscles. They support the pec and stabilizes the bench press. Also work to make your legs as strong and dynamic as possible and continue to improve your technique.
