Our pleasure, Zack. Staunton is a great State Park with a cool history. Being able to go for a hike and then back to camp makes it all the better. We have it on good word Staunton is working on some yurts further back in the park, sounds like some great snowshoe outings in the future!!!
Staunton State Park says, "Staunton's walk-in campsites are 180-799 yards from the parking lot. Please be prepared to carry your camping gear to your campsite." Here's the link to the camping info: cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/Staunton/Pages/Camping.aspx
No fires are allowed in Staunton State Park. The bathrooms are by the parking area, not far and are clean. There is also water located in the same location, not sure if it has been turned on for the season, we just bring our own. @@MADHippiesLife Thanks for the info and the link. One more question. Is there a place down by the parking lot and bathrooms where I could charge an eBike?
Thank you for sharing this! I love the trails in Staunton, can't wait to camp there

Check the deer caugt on camera, at counter 5:04, pretty cool. Straight in line with walking trail.
Staunton SP is a great place to see wildlife, especially curious campground deer 😁
How long was the walk from the parking lot?

Is there an outhouse by the campsites or do you have to hike all the way back down to the parking lot? Do the sites have fire rings?

@@knordberg we're not aware of any places to plug in anything, but you could certainly contact the park and see if there are any options.
