- It has been a tough couple weeks for Emberlynn. She was sick for a week with a slight cough and runny nose, then she was fine for a week, and now she has the FLU. We feel so bad for her. Watch and see how strong of a girl she is and how she stays so positive throughout the day.

My son went to the doc yesterday with 103.9 fever, he has strep. The doc explained that tamiflu has very bad side effects that most parents aren't aware of. The last 7 year old she prescribed it to had 2 seizures from tamiflu! Be careful

The worst I’ve had was 103.6 and almost went to the ER a fever that high is super concerning😫

I have asthma too. Some of us that has asthma is hard to go out when it's really cold/with wind and it causes us to start having bad asthma like it's starts with a Dry cough and breathing treatment is better than inhaler and also green tea with honey and if you don't like green tea and honey you can try warm water and that helps to because I was really sick and I had H1N1 and then Whooping cough. Whooping cough was the WORST because I didn't like to cough but now when I go to my doctors appointment I still wear a mask so I don't get sick and I I try my best not to touch anything

I had pneumonia in 1997 I was a junior in high school. I had a fever of 104 degrees. I felt like I was going to die. Praying for Emberlynn. I missed 4 days of school. I only went on Friday because I wanted to go. I shouldn't had taken the test, I wasn't ready. It was a math test. I'm praying she doesn't get pneumonia, it sucks. I had that. I had to go to the mini clinic. They gave me penicillin. I know sometimes blessings do help, blessings and prayer.

I hope Emberlynn is much better by now. I just got over the flu too and was sick for a month. I also want Campbell's chicken soup like Emberlynn. I've been eating Campbell's soup for over 50 years. My Mother gave me a lot of the same groceries you give your children. Get well soon Emberlynn!!!
My son has asthma and when anyone in the family gets the flu here they give everyone in your house the medicine. And you can't go to school for 7 days and then you have to have a fever broke for 24 hours. Thing is I will not send my kiddo's to school or take them anywhere unless dr.. If they are sick cause it just like comes back to us. And for my son who is on chemo and goes to public school if he gets the flu he has to be hospitalized. To me it is like a respect thing. That is why I have not had a video in weeks my son and hubby were sick now I am in bed and that is not fun but do what yah have to and rest your body during the sickly season. But this crazy weather here you can't tell if it is sinuses or something else half the time. I so miss working in the nursing field my body was a little more immune it seemed like. Praying for you all and prayers I can get groceries tomorrow if we have enough money and I am better. Blessings and especially for the little one's it is so hard and brothers who help are amazing.. Good night.

It started with the coughing and then BAM!
hate when they get sick, you feel so helpless and just wish you could take their pain! but it is lovely to see how they come together in your house to look out for each other, nothing more important than family :)

had a stomach virus/flu plus a 37,9c (im from london dont what that is across the pond) fever. it was horrible but i will admit i kinda like have my entire family plus friends feeling bad for me. 😂 oh and stomach cramps as well.

Oh no. Hope she feels better. It just ran through our entire family. It's quite difficult to vlog when the entire family is sick.
A few months back in Feb 2020 I had sinus virus along with a high fever my nose was swollen and my face was red and I had to say home from school for a week it was horrible I cried for hours those days cause I was in so much pain and I could not eat anything cause my stomach also hurt that week and I lost 4 pounds that week it was the worst week in my life and I'm 12 years old

I had a fever of 104 with a dry cough and a sore throat before it was miserable
I know this is a ur old video. I just wanted to said is that I use face mask 😷 for my kids, I have 3. 3 days after my daughter turned 3 years old, I took her to her yearly checkup and I ask for a X-ray, because she had complained that her back hurt 😞, well little that we know, she was diagnosed with Cancer. Now she is in remission and well. But because of her treatment her immune system is low. So we have to be very careful and do what we can for her not to get sick from the other kids. That’s why we keep a box of masks for her and my other kids, it helps a lot. She only gotten sick 🤒 I once and it was RSV. Her temp was also 104 when we took her in. God bless you guys, I just bumped into your page and I am catching up on the videos.

Long time ago I have I have asthma I Dios in Hayler. How long time is it. A cough a lot. Oh for me it’s hard to breeze

My son used to get sick like that and a respiratory therapist once instructed us on how to give percussion to the lungs to free up any mucous that might be accumulating in the lungs. Lay Emberlynn across your lap with her chest in your lap. Cup your hands and rap all over her back like a horse galloping. Do it for like 5 minutes. My son would ask for these treatments when he was little because they would help free up his lungs so much. Don't do it hard enough to hurt her....just hard enough to break up any mucous in the lungs. You'll get the feel for it and she should notice easier breathing.
Ok first of all we’re my 2020 fam at. Does she have COVID-19........Also I had strep with fever of 104 for 2-3 day and lost 10 pounds lol.

I take Airborne vitamins for the last 2 years and I have not been sick except once when I ran out. I take it daily, all my co workers have been sick with the flu and my husband and I have not been. My husband has heart problems.
I hope she feel better soon sometimes I feel sick in school but I don't want to sent home from school but I can't get someone sick winter is a sick season some of the kids and adults sick in every winter but they can use the medicine to help them cure the cold but winter is a cold season

Feel better soon I had the flu wone time and Tues what I had to stay home from school for a month my friends where were scared if I did I got to blood draw to and I threw up about ten times sometime when I had it in woke like 5:00 and woke my mom up and said I needed to throw up

I'm not. They will only admit a pediatric if their airway is being compromised or if the child is struggling with breathing
Try natural remedies maybe some eucalyptus oil. My daughter is asthmatic too but I try not to let her get to used to the machine. Some lemon and honey water. I also heard lots of physical acitivity (when they're not too sick) can strengthen their lungs. Poor baby. Hope she gets better and the asthma goes away when shes older. Bless her xx
