How does the thread cutter feature do? The one on my 9450 isn't useful because when I start sewing again,the thread makes a messy nest on the back. The only way to prevent it is to draw up the bobbin thread before I start stitching again. That defeats the purpose of using the cutter. Thanks!

I have another ? With the M7 can you down load or Up load patterns directly into the M7 without transferring them to a card first then to the Machine?

The 9480 comes with the ASR too.
It's an optional purchase with the 9480, doesn't come standard

Is the Continintal M7 able to be operated by the on off button instead of the foot pedal?
Yes, You can use the start stop button instead of a foot control
