- A Eucharistic flash mob in the centre of Preston, organised by the Capuchin Franciscans on Ascension Thursday 2011.
A small team of Catholic evangelists mingled with the crowd to hand out cards and explain what was going on. Here are some of the reactions....
"What is this about? What is happening? What is this about?"
One young girl said: "I've not seen anything like this since Church."
"Are they doing this all day? ... Will they be doing it again? ... Are they doing this any where else?"
Two young women asked: "Why does God allow hurt and pain in the world?" They agreed it was not God's fault but ours. Then they asked: "Why doesn't Jesus come again?" We explained that He is here in the form of bread, but would come again and we invited them to think about Him now.
"Is it religious? What is inside that thing?"
A man said: "What is that guy doing?" An old woman with him replied: "That's Jesus. Show respect."
"This is so moving! It is the first time I have seen it done outside. I can't wait to tell my parish priest!"

The Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit, if many churches are correct. If many churches are correct, The Trinity is a Family-- two Parents and a Progeny, just like a human family.(Humans are created in the "image" and "likeness" of God according to Genesis 1:26) In the book of Job, which is part of the Bible, the Lord is compared to a father and also a mother with a womb "From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?"-Job 38:29. Because God can also be thought of like a mother (Isaiah 42:14, Isaiah 66:13, Matthew 23:37), all three roles (father,mother,progeny) in a basic human family are filled in the Trinity. Saying the Father and the Son are Parents of the Holy Spirit is simply another way of saying "the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son" which has been official Catholic doctrine for centuries. The Church teaches that the Son is begotten from the Father. If this is true, the Father is the Father (Parent)of the Son. The Church teaches that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. If this is true, the Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit. Of course, the scriptures are vague if the Holy Spirit is the 3rd or 2nd Person of the Trinity, whichever of these is true, the 1st and the 2nd may be the Parents of the 3rd.

This was so beautiful! Rarely, often only on Corpus Christi, do we see Our Lord in the public square. It's so easy to put Him out of mind with everyday noise. Thanks for doing this and calling our minds and hearts back to our risen Savior.

It happens in Ireland in Catholic areas at the feast of Corpus Christi and in England and America too. But it's a more solemn occasion with Adoration and Benediction.

For 1600 years there was only type of Christianity: CATHOLIC. Either Roman/Latin rite or Orthodox/Eastern rite. Then 3 heretics, king henry 8th, martin luther and Calvin BROKE OFF from the Holy Catholic Apostolic church and created their own churches to suit their own beliefs.. outside communion with the Church founded by JESUS CHRIST himself. The new testament is letters and other writings from events in the first century by people that witnessed Jesus or were a part of the first Christians. Which are 66 books in total. The other books that you're attempting to say are of God. Where added many centuries later. Most of them around the 13th century. Which were all added to support Catholic made doctrines.
My question to you is, why can't you just do what scripture says and stop following man made doctrines?
This video is wonderful. Jesus, truly Present in the Eucharist brought to the city, to the people in the city, believers, non-believers and questioners! For those who do not believe that Christ can be Truly Present in a small piece of bread I have to ask, why are you putting limits on the power of God? If God can create the universe out of Nothing, if God can raise the dead, heal the blind, cure the lame and the lepers and cast out demons, why can he Not be Truly Present in an such an assuming manner. He came into this world in an unassuming manner, a helpless baby born to a working class family that lived in a nation under occupation. If God can become a baby, can He not become anything else. If God is All Powerful He Can Truly Do Anything and if He chooses to be Present for us in the form of Bread and Wine then that is His choice. Our choice is to Believe or Not. Remember Jesus promised He would be with us until the end of time. He chooses to do it in the Eucharistic Sacrament.

There are many mistakes in what people think the catholic church teaches, but in reality th catechism teaches and puts above all, Love and honor to God.
On second point we don't worship idols , because that bread which was within the golden monstrance IS JESUS HIMSELF, IT IS HIS BODY AND BLOOD . JOHN 6 VERSES 32-60 Jesus repeats over and over that He is the bread of eternal life, and when the jews are incredulous and scandalized by Jesus saying that He is the bread of life and we shoul Eat His body and drink His blood Jesus does not "correct" them and tell them that they understood wrong and that He was speaking metaphorically, because they understood correctly, He was speaking literally. They had understood . God is merciful and loving He would not us hear something from him, let us misunderstand Him and then let us be pulled away from Him because of a mistake or misunderstanding of His words, He is to merciful to let us be led away by a mistake.But He didnt correct them because they had understood exactly what He was saying, a nd because they were scandelized by the truth many left and abandoned Jesus, because His words were to hard to accept. Yet the 12 stayed with Him even though they didnt understand because they BELIEVED in His words even though they didnt understand they knew He was saying the truth, they accepted His message. Even though they might have thought it was impossible, crazy, or not real they left their " own judgment" on the side to believe that for God nothing is impossible, and that every word that comes from Jesus IS TRUTH itself, and so they believed even though they didnt understand, that Jesus was the bread of life and wanted them to literally eat His body and drink His blood in the EUCHARIST.
32 Jesus answered them: In all truth I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, it is my Father who gives you the bread from heaven, the true bread;33 for the bread of God is the bread which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
35 Jesus answered them: I AM the bread of life.
41 Meanwhile the Jews were complaining to each other about him, because he had said, 'I am the bread that has come down from heaven.'
48 I am the bread of life.
51 I am the living bread which has come down from heaven. Robert Schilling before there was ever a King James Bible there was the Catholic Church (who by divine inspiration compiled the Bible). My answer would be to go ask someone in one of the 30,000 denominations out there that have arisen since the Reformation and get 30,000 different answers to your question, or you can accept the teachings of the One Holy Catholic and apostolic Church and be able to rest in God's providence and understand that Jesus is truly present in what you call a crumb.
If God can transform something so complex as the human heart and its sinful condition into something that looks like Jesus, how much more simple must it be to change bread and wine?
It's a hard thing to see without eyes of faith---but He is there.
I wish you no ill will or bad feelings. I'm just trying to come to you from my heart and what I've learned in my conversion experience. I was once a very staunch anti-Catholic. But God in His merciful sense of humor took me on a ten year journey of discovering the truth, little by little.

Robert Schilling Scripture is why I’m Catholic. The Eucharist is another anchor to the Catholic Church. Ever since I began concentrating on the Eucharist during Mass, I am now able to feel Christ’s presence as I look upon the consecrated Eucharist.
This was brilliant, it was a real mood lifter. I would love to see this in my hometown. The world needs more priests. In 1970 there were approximately 50 Billion Catholics in the world, today there are 1.28 Billion Catholics in the world that’s more than double today than in 1970. In 1970 there were about 417,000 priest in the world, today there are about 418,000 we need more priest. In my parish we have 2 full time priest including the pastor to cover a daily mass plus 3 mass’s on Saturday and 5 on Sunday. One of our priests was recently transferred to a new parish and he is the only priest/pastor and he must cover a daily mass plus 2 mass’s on Saturday and 2 mass’s on Sunday. This is not right with Canon law. Please pray for more priests and maybe help family members to consider entering the priesthood and offering their life to the Lord. Please spread the word and please pray.

We all have different opinions, that's absolutely fine but you claim and attack it becomes ugly and in other words becomes nothing but cheap talk!
Most of the negative comments slandering the Catholic Church doesn't make a difference for us. We have been fighting heresies and heretics since Martin Luther!

I've actually attended several Eucharistic adorations before in the past before COVID-19 pandemic and even after COVID-19 pandemic and to be honest, I founded Eucharistic adoration very helpful, inspiring and encouraging and comforting and it gave me hope in the future. Do I still continue going to Eucharistic adoration? Yes. Because Eucharistic adoration and worshiping Jesus in the Holy Eucharist has made me a better and decent person in this temporary world and hopefully I'll enter the Kingdom of God.
This video shows how little faith people have in Jesus. It is a lot easier to mock what Jesus instituted than to believe.
