J Cat the fact that its actually such a huge problem in the industry, at the top and even in high school plays and smaller productions at the “bottom”. The double is an entirely separate human being who is utilizing their talents, skills, whatever, to work on a project, just like the actors, director, sound designer, and all the other big names. “Captain Marvel” producer Jonathan Schwartz, who also produced the “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies, calls Brie Larson the "next Tom Cruise." “On any other Marvel movie, stunt doubles would be doing 99 percent of what she’s doing,” he said on the set. She spent so much timeat the stunt gym, "we sort of had to say, ‘You need to get some rest. And Brie and Teyonah were the most amazing support system, just to have people who have the same pains from doing STUNTS . We were just crying together. It’s awesome.”
This is why I have disliked Marvel these past few years. Female empowerment is one thing, but Hollywood are straight up Hi-jacking the series to achieve this because the structure has already been built and like anything, it eaaier to slap a new skin on it and hope not everyone falls off the bandwagon. I think they just told her "You woman, you strongest" as to project that image for the young female crowd and she has ran with it. I then went into that, which then turned into nine months of training. And nine months of just training-training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team. We spent two hours every day, five days a week. And it wasn't until ... everyone just went along with it, and was like, "Cool." It wasn't until we started shooting, and I started doing all my own wire work stunts, and flips and stuff that people were like, "You know nobody, now we'll tell you, nobody actually does this. We just didn't want you to stop. But now that you've kind of accomplished this thing, we don't normally do this." And I was like, huh?

J Cat the fact that its actually such a huge problem in the industry, at the top and even in high school plays and smaller productions at the “bottom”. The double is an entirely separate human being who is utilizing their talents, skills, whatever, to work on a project, just like the actors, director, sound designer, and all the other big names. They 100% deserve recognition where it’s due, and for Brie to KNOWINGLY say she didn’t have a stunt double is actually disgusting. Especially when you provide photographic evidence.
I’ve 100% just lost any positive feelings I had going for her
Nobody:
Brie larson: "I diD mY oWn StuNtS"
Brie larson's stunt double: "am I a joke to you ?"
Didn't she just swing from a rope
Axel23410 I once found in the comments someone who knew her stunt double and they said that Brie Larson was really disrespectful to her double and never wanted to acknowledge when she (the stunt double) did something right and everybody congratulated her.
Katzalin Olcoz Which shocked me when she said “I did my stunts” while a month ago she said it herself in her Wired interview that Renae Moneymaker is her stunt double.
Cheese Is Life wait her last name is Moneymaker thats is an amazing last name
BLKPREZ I know rite? A pretty cool chick. Moneymaker is also Black Widow’s stunt woman.
Go to Larson’s Wired interview, she mentioned her in 5:30.
She preaches to the audience constantly. I would not be surprised if she's preaching on set as well.
"here me my sisters, for the holy book of Woke says that thoouh shall hate white men" XD
oh hell yeah!
I'd kill myself if she does that on set and I was on set too (If I was a character)!
@@neimkii I wouldn't, if I had the chance to be around the MCU actors I am not letting Brie ruin that! Just ignore her and hang out with everyone else.
@@zuzoscorner no. She's not Ebony Maw. 🤣
“Captain Marvel” producer Jonathan Schwartz, who also produced the “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies, calls Brie Larson the "next Tom Cruise."
“On any other Marvel movie, stunt doubles would be doing 99 percent of what she’s doing,” he said on the set. She spent so much timeat the stunt gym, "we sort of had to say, ‘You need to get some rest. Stop pushing yourself so hard.’
"But when you see this movie, the amount of practical stunts that she’s doing by herself will boggle your mind, and make you say, ‘I can’t believe they let her do that.’ ”
A good friend of mine met Chris Hemsworth while she was in hospital and said he was one of the most genuine people she had ever met so I doubt he'd act that of way for no reason.
Yeah, i think Chris is genuinly nice to people who return the same kindness and respect to him and Brie Larson just seems like she's full of herself and he's not taking any of it.
Wow I'm glad your friend is lucky.
Ben Wadhams can confirm met him at a beach he's nice I just said I appreciate his work and asked to shake his hand and he seemed to enjoy it and be appreciative
Bro i can feel jeremy renner’s internal monologue of “Jesus f*cking christ” during her response
You can just hear the voice in his head "somebody shut this bitch up please.".
I really need to stop using that “Jesus f*cking Christ” phrase 😅. It feels sooooo good saying it out loud though 😌
That was the only one you could definitively say that the other person was not feeling her bs. Go Hawkeye!
I can hear him saying "Dear God, help meeee!"
🤣🤣
Brie Larson talks about her performing her own stunts. Jackie Chan starts laughing 'Hold my beer'.
There's no comparing brie Larson to stunt legend Jackie chan, he has almost died on several occasions due to his stunts and started out his career as a nobody movie stuntman.
**Keanu Reeves enters the chat**
Tom Cruise yells in the back
*tom cruise enters the server*
Nah Jackie Chan chugs all the beer and says, “hold my empty beer bottle” and then goes all Drunken Master
the stunt double looks much better than she does
Brie larson stunts interview before chris hemsworth No, it really all came out of ignorance, to be honest. I didn’t realize that you don’t actually do your own, most people don’t do their own stunts in these movies. I thought you did, and I’ve never been a particularly elegant or athletic person. I’m just an introvert with asthma and felt like I needed to be able to do that. I just thought, “I don’t wanna be on set, and they ask me to do things, and I don’t know how to do it.” So I started training as soon as I could, which was right after I wrapped, so it basically started right as I wrapped picture, I locked picture on the film that I directed. I then went into that, which then turned into nine months of training. And nine months of just training-training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team. We spent two hours every day, five days a week. And it wasn’t until … everyone just went along with it, and was like, “Cool.” It wasn’t until we started shooting, and I started doing all my own wire work stunts, and flips and stuff that people were like, “You know nobody, now we’ll tell you, nobody actually does this. We just didn’t want you to stop. But now that you’ve kind of accomplished this thing, we don’t normally do this.” And I was like, huh?
Christian Bale Says Hollywood (and the World) Would Be Better If ‘White Dudes’ Weren’t in Charge of Everything The actor says there would be "so much better films and so much more interesting stories" if white dudes weren't running Hollywood. Zack Sharf Dec 19, 2017
Why did she get triggered by being compared to Tom Cruise? I would take that as a huge compliment.
neo-feminism.
Tom Cruise jumped out of an airplane, she's nowhere near his level.
Tom Cruise is a legend when it comes to his doing stunts. She needs to ever have
Cause it's a MAN. She probably has daddy issues and was in a bad high school relationship. Picture the girl who kicked guys in the balls cuz omg she's so strong uwu
Tom Cruise has a bigger butt than she does!!
Seeing Ultron absolutely shred Brie in “What if?” was the best part of the whole series.
@@vincemac5094 he's right !
I loved that scene. Also her getting ROCKED in Endgame.
@@vincemac5094 Haha then Christian Bale can fuck himself and his racist aittitude hahaha
Fyi, chris hemsworth is always nice to other people, welcoming, and no one ever had any trouble with him.
So if chris dislikes brie, there some serious stuff happening there..
Man is making it look like Chris doesnt like brie even tho he is an actor and he is probably joking around in the interviews because he probably joking because he is also an avenger
@@khatija295 Yeah, it does seem like he plays a little with how Thor would react to those statements more than actually neccessarily disliking her as a person.
I don't hate Chris but he is actually kinda like that with Evans too but just really subtly. Cus well Evans a male too. He probably couldn't take it from a female trying to compete regarding strength
taba 98 If anything he probably makes fun of how seriously she seems to take her characters strength. She is bragging about it like it’s her own strength she is talking about. Unless he has showed any real tendencies of sexism you really shouldn’t accuse him like that. Not everything has to be about gender.
@@anotherofus5137 not really, he's actually always hypes up women in that industry, he's literally the least sexist person in existence
Captain Marvel: I'm the strongest Avenger!
Wanda and Dr. Strange: *casually makes new realities*
Brie- “my character is the strongest”
The fan base- “we beg to defer”
I totally read this as:
Brie "My cheese is the strongest."
The hulk is the strongest, in the comic, the universe was falling down and he pushed it back up. That's how strong he is.
@@masonlomas967 they are nerfing male heros and overpowering female ones.
Gaurav Yadav cuz that’s what everybody wants right? Weak ass male heroes to make men feel inferior and OP females to empower women
Gaurav Yadav I would like to desagree with that, in my opinion the reason to nerf Thor and Hulk was because they wanted to give more protagonist to Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr in their probably last MCU film
stan lee: thor is the strongest, followed closely by the hulk.
Larson: ummmmm thats just not correct
“Its not a personal opinion, its a fact”
Larson: That's sexist.
@@muhammedmahin9487 nah Larson 1v1d him on rust
@@muhammedmahin9487 in base form Thor is powerful and immortal hulk is strongest but that is amped version of hulk not the base form of hulk.
i would say wanda is up there. she is pretty damn powerful
There's probably a good reason why Scarlet Johansen isn't appearing alongside her in interviews
@Brett Hazelton
That's possible: all I'm saying is that it's hard reprogramming someone who's gone that far done the victimhood-rabbit hole. Hollywood is almost 100% progressive Democrat, about as far to the right as you can expect someone to get is the odd "leave me and my guns alone" lolbert. If you want to work in that town, you have to expect to kneel and pray at the altar of progressive ideology.
Nobody likes an arrogant celebrity that makes sexist comments and bad movies. Cancel Brie Larson.
Chris Hemsworth seems like one those types of people who often like everybody, if he dislikes you, ask yourself why!
@R J chill out man, you seem like a butthurt Brie Larson fan
@R J its true, all the cast crew loves each other. I think Brie Larson is just a bitch in the studio till the point of no one liking her.
R J , you aint belong to people species, that much can be told
Botond Nagy “you dont* belong”. But yes, that was a stupid opinion on RJs part
R J kinda like how lefty wokers expect everyone to hand over there power just because they’re uncomfortable? No wait, that makes less sense. 🤣😂
Renner's a great actor but nobody is that good, his reactions were real and priceless.
Did She just forget Wanda and Dr.Strange are literally Universe Benders?
white vision crushed her skull easily
Strongest and more resilient is totally different than humans with limited resilience and superior magic 🎩
They were completely uncomfortable around her.
“Our culture will be so much richer the day that we stop saying, ‘Hey, it’s all white dudes who are running things,'” CHRISTIAN Bale said. “Whether that be Hollywood, whether that be Washington, you know. The young actress called both "completely different [experiences]," noting that they had "the same amount of filming time" for "a lot less content." She called her work on The Marvels much more "relaxed" and praised the "amazing support system" of co-stars Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris: “It was absolutely amazing, a completely different experience,” smiles Vellani. “You have the same amount of filming time almost to film a lot less content, so everything was more relaxed. And Brie and Teyonah were the most amazing support system, just to have people who have the same pains from doing STUNTS . We were just crying together. It’s awesome.”
Chris Hemsworth could not make that Wonder Woman response anymore impactful. And then he said it twice😂😂
Gal Gadot was PERFECT casting, Brie was terrible casting -_-

she honestly looks like she didn’t read the comics, the stan lee himself even said thor is stronger than her....this is why I hate some actors egos
she didn't
This is why I have disliked Marvel these past few years. Female empowerment is one thing, but Hollywood are straight up Hi-jacking the series to achieve this because the structure has already been built and like anything, it eaaier to slap a new skin on it and hope not everyone falls off the bandwagon. I think they just told her "You woman, you strongest" as to project that image for the young female crowd and she has ran with it. Not saying this is bad for that reason, but when you overwrite what has been 10+ years of Universe building, what does that do to al the kids who grew up with a very different image.
@@jasonrahm9489 I know dude the next phase of marvel is legit gonna be all female heroes saving the day
And the Russo brothers have said captain marvel is stronger now that she is developed. The people who uh make the movies
@@outlaw266 Why do you think this though? The running gag in the movies is Thor saying he is the strongest Avenger. The culture however cast Captain Marvel as female (no issues) and raised her pedistal higher for the sake of the cause. The characters input to the franchise, as it was, was pointless and clearly nothing more than a money grab stunt from the "woke" community. I do not mean this offensively either btw. It is the same strategy Trump used on his own base, and instead of ruining a country, Disney are ruining a Franchise.
Brie Larson snapped her fingers and the entire MCU cast was soaked in despair
