I had a series that was supposed to include narration, but it wouldn't show up. I spent about 40 mins bouncing back and forth between KU and Audible service agents, eventually Audible purchased the audiobooks I had added. (I do have an active audible account) It seems like neither side knows what the problem is.
I had this exact same problem when I was filming this update. It's so weird what seems to be listed as KU with audio, but then doesn't actually have it.
Thank you so much for videos and updates ,not sure if I’m being silly or not but still a little confused as when I download audible narration to listen to it sounds like a computer reading rather than a person is that right ? or is it supposed to be like that ?, i was told doing it like this is just a cheaper was of getting audio book but is exactly the same .
Originally, the books were all audible books read by real voice actors. However, I've noticed that writers can authorize audio versions that are done with the computer voice, and now those are popping up as well. I think that kind of audio is listed as another type, but I'm not sure what it's called. Sorry you've had bad experiences with it. I hope you can find an audio version that is done by voice actors and not something that sounds like a computer.
Does the app sync the audio with the reading?
Yes, It did for me when I was reading on my phone and my ipad.
I saw your video from 2 years ago and have used it but this update it helpful. Now I wish Amazon would just let you do ADDITOINAL filters! You can pick Mystery but after that you have to scroll--- through 6000 books! There's no way to filter by author or character (whish I saw but now can't find). Maybe --- someday in the future. Finger crossed!
