yeah....but its during weeks like this, when teams nobody care about that arent even in playoffs contention, pull off rediculous stomps/upsets that throw playoff positions into absolute chaos.
theres no real stakes for them, so they can go into the games without a care in the world. they play more relaxed, which helps some teams focus more on communication/mechanics rather than making the safest calls to help them win.

@@austintruly oh i agree. thats why teams that just YOLO it and play to try to win instead of the "safest play" are so much more enjoyable..and often do better at worlds as far as NA is concerned. c9 havent always been the best team regionally, but internationally theyre usually the one NA team that takes risks, or takes the aggression to the other teams. when NA teams tried to play the same style as LCK years ago, it flopped hard as hell. cuz NA macro and teamfighting just isnt nearly as crisp. but when c9 made it to semifinals, that was them being aggressive. risky. playing the style that best suited the team, instead of what suited the meta.
and i hope that EG or the more recently aggressive TL can pull something of that style off and..at least make it out of groups lol. like. i know they probably wont ever win worlds. but just take a bo5 to 5 games. thats all i ask for.

Well "clean" is still a bit of an overstatement. As stated, if they are not that far ahead, some of those lategame fights can go very differently. Good game tho, nice to see.

0:35 LPL plays Sylas into Azir, even though lane sucks. But it does not matter which champ one picks (meta champs rn), it is always an annoying lane vs azir. So why not pick Sylas, a champ that almost always has a "bad" lane and is useful/strong regardless. That is my take on it.

Back when I started watching competitive league back in 2015, I'd look at NA LCS and think damn this is intense. It was pretty darn entertaining and now look at this shit. This is a snoze fest. Don't even say it's bc I watch Dom's LPL vids bc I used to watch LCK with Montecristo casting and the LCS still looked good.
I fully admit that Dom's LPL vids made me see the light. I saw the crazy shit they pull off and it genuinely got me to want to get better at this game.
@@Thund3rDrag0n12 LPL players are complete psychopaths, so they probably resonate with dom's crack brain pretty well.
but all jokes about dom and crack aside, LPL teams are just more willing to take crazy flips/risks and they have the mechanics/macro to back it up. not to mention their coordination and comms are usually a lot cleaner than LCS ones.

Other than it not doing really that much you give amazing ult to Sylas, and Sylas will be lvl 16, Renata wont, meaning his ult is just a lot better than what you have
@@miskopisko8833 Renata is stupidly good in pro play, and she's particularly broken vs engage comps because her disengage is so cracked, vs rakan sylas wukong Gwen it's an insanely strong pick, Leona is fine too but one good Renata ult when eg engages and it's insta won
