Flan's Mod Ultimate is still king when it comes to being a configurable, customizable mod that lets you make anything you want. But it's definitely showing its age by now.
I prefer more timeless in term of animation. That reloading animation look smooth as heck,broooo. Guess I have more reason to add another profiles and modded my games with more mods like this.
The Timeless and Classic Guns have a tremendously better reload than Vic's Modern Warfare. However, in "some" cases, the Vic's Modern Warfare mod has a better replication of the real gun. Additionally, I feel like Vic's Mod creates a better and more realistic effect on their guns. For example, the smoke and shell casings act very realistic. In contrast, Timeless and Classic Guns only exist for the reload and appealing appearence. In conclusion, I think if we put both of these together. We will get the ultimate but very laggy gun mods. In my opinion, I prefer Timeless and Classic Guns. Edit: Just because the depiction of the reload is the majority of a gun's mechanic in games.
I feel like people who are going for realism would definitely choose vic's over timeless. But in terms of just gameplay and adding just more weapons to mess around with, definitely timeless.
Damn, this sure has changed a lot since the times of Flan's. I remember thinking it was already so advanced when Flan's added some very simple 3D models instead of the pixelart textures.
Tbh, Vic's stands superiour. The amount of guns vic's has is unmatched, and with people creating custom packs it will be even more unmatched. There's other reasons as well.
Yes but TaC is better because its in newer version,and a little bit better in optimizations..Although VMW is also more optimized than before so not much difference
@@zu1200 Personally, I feel like 1.12.2 is the best version, and I have a strong disliking for the newer versions, as mojang keeps screwing things up. Optimizations, that is one thing though, but vic's modern warfare gives me that MilSim ArmA 3 style of gameplay.

Well Vic's models look more "Minecrafty" and I like it. They also made animations more like slow-peaced, that's good. Got so tired of ppl making CoD-ish 'Tacticringe' animations, so my choice is Vic's mod Altough, overall shooting mechanics, spunds and animations look better in TaCG

Vic's is more like Insurgency in a way because of it's animations and sounds, but it's missing a lot of audio with some actions. And Timeless feels more like COD, hence the animations and sounds. Both are great games though.

VMW Rely on realism while giving more attachments TaC (Timeless and Classic) More of a improvement Crayfish's Gun mod (despite the mod require his mod) While also allow you attach any available rail systems Although despite both are good, VMW miss something that in real life have and that's Super V recoil (Vector recoil system)
Vics has a bad history with sharing = caring and often has poor optimization with spaghetti code Timeless does look more stylized though by default so... Idk timeless looks better overall runs better aswell
I personally think if the mod authors came together and brought the best of both packs together since they both respectively have great features and animations they could potentially make the most hard core weapon mod Minecraft has and will ever see.
Modders of any game are notorious for not really being the cooperative types, especially since many want their mod to be just theirs and theirs alone for some resemblance of fame
Even though the textures themselves aren't as detailed in Vic's mod as in Timeless I still prefer Vic's weapon pack. Why? It has better, more acoustic sounds and the animations even if they're the same feel more refined. Vic's guns look simpler but also more accurate with the iron sights, etc. My vote would go to Vic's 100/100 times. Great job!
I gotta say Vic’s has more guns and I like the magazine system other than just making bullets but the timeless guns just feel more realistic and more customizable but Vic’s has more attachments

Simple model, animation and sound comparison doesn't do justice (TaC's ones are better though). Compare it in combat. Shooting stuff feels different, VMW guns feel like toys, the spread is too big, range is weird (probably some bugs happen), while TaC's guns do feel like real weapons that hit and wreck their targets on realistic ranges. Also, the modification mechanic. TaC's is so much easier and visual, completely user-friendly (thanks to MrCrayfish's Gun Mod, I guess, but still). But that's just my opinion, my assumptions could be wrong. These mods are for different versions of MC and comparing them could be nonsense in the first place. XD

And also In vic's gun mod the gun's slide doesn't go back like it's supposed to be, while tue slide goes back in timeless. But I would defenitely choose vic's gun mod if I ever have to play with mods in 1.12..

I agree. I like both mods almost equally, but every time I try to run vic's on my PC in 1.12.2, it always crashes.

Vics modern warfare is almost finished with their overhaul, which includes even more guns, new animations, and new textures.
They are also adding terrents and Vehicles into the game.

I know timeless and classics guns is realistic the KRISS vector having little the recoil but WHY IS THERE NO BULLET CASING COMING OUT OF THE CHAMBERS

There's 4 gun mods that I want, Timeless and Classic, Vic's Modern Warfare, Stephinus Guns Mod, and Flan's Mod.
Vic's mod is cool but it's 1.12.2 exclusive so timeless and classics are much butter but it's lacking guns
