Great to see more Dawn of Sorrow streams, and looking forward to more. I hope you'll play through to the end. This is the last Castlevania game chronologically and has a nice ending, not just for 2 Sorrow games, but ends the centuries long story on a good note.
I remember playing through Dawn of Sorrow about 14 years ago, and absolutely loving it. Even more than SOTN. These days? You couldn't pay me to play through any of the MetroidVania games. :P I have zero patience for that nightmare maze gauntlet. It's that one genre where i really need to be in the mood to play. Where's the Curse of the Moon 3 prequel when you need it? Oh well, at least we just got Haunted Castle Revisited. :P
If you farm for that Waiter Skeleton soul you can throw a damaging plate of curry. You can throw one in the entrance before the main village to attract the Yeti to try to get his soul. It's one of 3 hidden souls in the game. The newspaper you can find or buy describe them & give hints on how to find them.

Dawn of Sorrow has lot of interesting and neat rooms and enemies. Each section is unique. Great walkthrough.
