For me the World Class definition comes down to two things,
1) Andy said the player can get into any team in the world
2) They are the best 3-4 players in that position.
So example Kane, Haaland, Lewandowski all world class in my opinion.
So based on that I think B.Silva is world class as a CM/CAM for most teams.
I would also include them performing actions on multiple occations that most people cant. Example:lewa has scored like over 30 goals in the league the past seasons. Or modric and de bruyne with their passes
@@robinharlaar I get that but these players doing those actions as you’ve said would’ve made them automatically top 3-4 players in there position. Like if you perform consistently, then you are world class etc
Like I support Utd and Pogba had world class potential but didn’t do it enough so I don’t think he was good enough to be classed as world class

I would say Bernardo Silva is world class. Playing in one of the most talented teams in the world and still stands out consistently with his play. He may even be underappreciated with all of the big names that City has
As a Portuguese, I can only hope and believe that we'll go far. However, due to our manager, if I'm being realistic, I don't expect great things, even if the talent is there (in terms of players).

De Bruyne is the best in the entire world at his position. To base world class off of the best in the world means that to be world class you have to be the best in that position, not just one of the best. I don’t see world class that way, because otherwise there would only be one world class midfielder/CAM and it would be DeBruyne and that’s a very small number of world class players for CAM. De Bruyne is elite though. Silva is definitely world class.

I think Naymar is skilled but he isn't world class. I don't think he would do well in the prem and hasn't done well in Europe. He hasn't done anything at a world cup finals and does all his scoring for Brazil outside the world cup.
