    Oh man, I love the cows in the barn one, I was going to steal that idea! But they are out of the cow print beads. Boo I’m starting to sub and my husband has cows on our farm. We live in Illinois. I love cows too!

    What kind of thread do you use. I want to make some lanyards with silicone beads and I can’t find anything that 2 threads go in. I used 1 millimeter leather and that breaks when you pull on it.

    Can you use other beads besides the silicone ones? I have a bunch of bubblegum beads but not silicone ones.

      It did at first! I am currently looking for a better string to use because it is starting to unravel!

      Maybe use leather cord instead, or unwaxed cord.

      @@kyleighelizabethw you can use nylon silk cord and instead of your knot put on matching break away clasp.

      @@Sticks45 how long does the silk last before it begins to gray or break? I made one for cruising and it broke on the dock in Belize, so I’m crawling around trying to find all of my expensive glass beads! Yikes!

      @@coletteeason2872 it is a silky nylon cord. It is ridiculously strong. I have no idea if it ever breaks or discolors. I I highly doubt it. No complaints from my customers and they all know howe to find me!

      Hi! I use different sizes, mostly 12 mm & 15 mm! They also come in 9 mm, as well as larger!

      The size of your string really depends because the thicker the string the more difficult it is to pass the beads over
