I am a proud Tsonga woman from Giyani. I’ve been a chiller since June 2020 to date; and I was at the Live Show in Meropa excited like most staunch chillers (I'm one of the day ones).
However, I would like to express that I was saddened by the way Tsonga people were sidelined during this show.
I think it was ignorant of the team to only mention and emphasise on Venda and Pedi Chillers in Limpopo as if those are the only present tribes in the province.
I'm glad to see similar comments sharing the same sentiments because I thought I was the only one feeling the disappointment.
Nevertheless, the highlight was witnessing the amazing energy from fellow chillers and the podcast team. It was also beautiful seeing the amazing Ghosty, Sol and MacG in person.

PLK was lit🔥 People were afraid to talk about vuloyi. Here's my experiences: At home we used to find a R5 note back then before it was a coin on the same spot every morning. We would burn it every day and the smell would be so horrible! It took about 6 months. There were things making some crazy noise on the roof at night and an owl once came during a party...I've experienced many forms of witchcraft and I thank God for keeping my life.

If I can narrate my stories no one would believe me. I once had a car accident driving from PLK with my mom. We saw many cattle and even heard the sound of cloaks by the road. We slowed down but one passed as I was reducing the speed. When we heard the sound of the collision we assumed it was the cow. When we came out of the car not even a single cow was there! We were like what happened to that cow and many that were accross the road. Nothing made sense at all! Really the grace of God is sufficient.
