In terms of family, I guess you're right. She always looks out for them. But she was selfish in tons of other ways. She didnn't care who she hurt to get what she wanted. And she was proud of her misdeeds. And then she got with Spinelli. =) I adore her now (although I did have my "Ew Spixie" period when they just had the same dialogue day after day).
