- Pia and Lisa explain the basics of German Cases.
We want to produce a lot of short videos explaining how the German Cases work, hoping that it it better to watch many short videos to one theme that to watch one long video to that theme many times.

Pia: Halte mein Deutsch Grammatikbuch!
so far the most amazing video on accusative and dative. danke Lisa and Pia.
Danke Lisa und Pia*
Probably, this way to teach German is one of the best ways I have ever seen.
Context explanations way too fast, but the examples are perfect. This is really fun to watch, great job girls! Vielen dank!
👍👍🥰🥰
We plan to produce many such videos. And I will remember your advice. Our idea is like this: it is easier to see many short videos explaining some grammatical theme than to see one longer video many times. (which would be boring, I seldom see one video twice) And I'm going to ask many different people to host those videos for us.
yesterday we made a video which addresses people who just have started to learn German. Isi and Jana speaks there very slowly and distinctly. It's fun to listen :D I will upload the video today.
And I thought that I was doing great at Duolingo's lessons.😓
Hahaha same here man .. same here :D
Paulo Flores you just gotta supplement it with other things, find simple german books or watch german dubs of movies you've memorized in your language, it takes time and even I didn't think I'd understand as much (little..) as I do. try to watch other german teaching channels like german with Jenny or deutsch für euch, etc. you'll get there, just keep going! everything you learn feels rewarding
Thanks, I'll check out other channels as you suggested. I'm very interested in german, what cool language.
Paulo Flores after 100+ day spent with duolingo, i can claim that every day you get punched with loads of words that are maybe from real life, but actually learning all of them is useless and maybe even harmful, because in the meantime you may forget about grammar and much more important vocabulary. but except Duo and memrise I can't find a sensible alternative, since I have streaks and still, knowing some vocabulary is mandatory ;)
hahah
This is amazing!!! Thank you so much. I am on the third week of German and I am so happy to have finally found something so useful on the internet!
we plan to produce many more :D
One of the best videos I have seen, Thanks , Thanks , Thanks , Thanks , Thanks
thanks a lot, God bless you all.
God's not real.
a fool's last words!!!
travman387 Du bist eine frau
je suis un homme, espece de idiote!
travman387 Tu parles français! Mois aussi... Mais t'es une femme lol
You explain the first three cases much clearly in a non nonsense manner much better than my textbooks do. Danke schön.
bitte langsam sprechen
thaaer Khubbieh hhhhhhh
Mohammad Amin Nabavi

TYSKIE!!!!
Ihr seid die besten.Danke an euch.
Fantastic video , only qualm is if you could slow down only so slightly please. Danke.
Congrats PIA and LISA ! ! ! ! I thing your videos are, BY FAR, the MOST EFFECTIVE between those of EASY LANGUAGES :
1) SIMPLE AND TARGET PHRASING;
2) REPETITION OF SENTENCES;
3) ENGLISH SUBTITLES
Well done mates
German is such a beautiful language :D
I know! People think its ugly and I don't know why! English is uglier!
I once heard a quote that went something like this.
The English language is basically the German language, but beaten, abused, and left in the road to die.
I don't know where I heard it though.
+Zach Johnson That describes English very well haha it's pretty much spot on!
I don't understand why some people think German language is ugly, disgusting or even unattractive
German just has sounds like 'ch' and the 'r' sound that a lot of people don't like.
How is the English language " Beaten , abused , and left on the road to die" ? The german language sounds more rough and barbaric to be quite honest , especially the "ch and r" sounds. I don't have anything against German but saying that English is "what you said above " is totally not true
Awesome. Your energy and entertaining way makes it easier to learn
Pia and Lisa sprechen zu schnell. LOL
it makes easier when 2 cute German girls teaching
It's not easy when they're speaking at the rate of an angry Puerto Rican...
I find these videos the most useful.
Diese Lektion ist sehr interessant..... Aber... Entschuldigen Sie bitte: warum sprechen Sie so schnell?
pia and lisa ur da best! thanks to you guys i fnally figured out the difference between the kasus!!!!
yeah so hard to keep up as a totally nongerman speaker. i have to pause an rewind so much.
That is the point though. You have to keep repeating and you will start to pick out the words and get used to the speed.
Its better to learn it this way. It gets stuck to your brain faster and you will pick up more phrase lines. If its slower your learning side of the brain loses order and conjugation. When fast spoken you pick up more and gets secretly stored in your brain. But people to people differ.
yeah but if it was a tad s;ower and then they said it at normal speed it would be perfect for me cuz right now it sounds like "ibivbviv fiebvievbevnevieur" lol
Sergio Velasco Just keep listening and learn certain words which you don't know which was said.
If it is too fast still, work on the individual sounds of the German language and come back to it.
its been a hall year and I rewind many of these videos and I can tell now my progress is very good, dont stop or let the frustation invade your selft courage to learn this amazing language.
Hard for a newbie like me to follow but I really like the videos. Nothing better than learning through immersion. danke schön Pia und Lisa!.
LoL when she said this is a lie this was so embarrassing !
Vielen dank Pia und Lisa
These videos would be excellent if you would speak more slowly and clearly so that we could follow you.
Das war toll!! Vielen Dank für diese Folge.
that moment when Germans known for their multiple awesome beers show a Polish beer in a German-teaching video :D I'm not mad though, Tyskie is great (trust me, I'm Polish)
Vielen dank
I think this is the best way of learning German. I study German in Cultural part of Austrian ministry and we do the same way in the class. We just repeat and we make real conversations with each other.
6:08 - why is it "der" Frau?
die Frau - Nominativ
if you want to say that you give something to somebody you would use Dative (in English it would be "to whom?") then you say: I give it to this women (to whom) Ich gebe es der Frau.
der Frau - Dative
Dankeschoen! It makes sence now. I'm getting better I think!
我
Thank you for the video. It made my day!
merci
honestly this is way too hard for beginners in order to be called "easy german"
lolasogm I agree, I couldn't understand anything, glad I know English otherwise I wouldn't be able to understand the German conversation.
lolasogm its
This video is really helpful, finally I understood the differences between Akkusativ and Dative. I really hope that will have more videos soon
Too FAST :(((
Way to fast...I didn't learn a thing. You should try the extra videos..they are really good.
Take notes...
Good job, thank's for your time.
Pia, can you try to speak little slower. Thank of us as babies in the German language, not as one of your native friends
*think
too fast girls, I lil bit slower will help us much more, remember is for learning a language, I think we the majority dont speak at that level yet,
There is no way a beginner can learn from this video!
lol, I agree to some extent, at the same time it's nice to get an idea of exactly how German is spoken normally.
Great topic, I think this one of the things that turns down people on learning this great language, so its good you get this material out, danke schön!!!
I'm sure this video is for those who learning German like me n German are good at these.. then why the hell you're speaking so fast :3 It is very hard to understand :3
You can pause the video and read the subtitles. Then you can go back and listen and hear it. It's how fast people will speak german in real life, so it's good practice for that.
Canadian Brony do you have any idea what are the requirement to study in english university for management in Germany ??
Innocent Marsh I have no idea.
Canadian Brony I lived in Hamburg and no one spoke to me so fast
I hear what you are saying and yes there is an element of speed in there but.....this IS how fast people speak so I think it's better to paus the video and learn what they are telling you and try and getting used to the speed.
These are really helpful while I'm trying to keep learning through my summer break, thank you!
6:24...thank me later
Jam JestMarchew ;) lol
+Daniel Lourido the guys staring at the boobs lmao
Vielen Dank ! Diese video hat mir viel gehölft.
it is cool, but u are talking to fast.
Das ist ein wirklich fantastisches Projekt.
magauchsein gefaellt mir sehr.
Pia speaks too fast :/
cute and funny all the material exposed here. Congrats to you all. danke!
so fast :o can u speak slower LOL :P
Kannst du was slower sprechen bitte :p
Spricht bitte langsamer!
+Michael Sullivan hhhhh.....
+Mario x Jolien hahaha slower sprechen. What a combination!
Ngan Huynh hahaha yeah don't know what slower in german is hahaha :p
Mario x Jolien slower?! Langsamer*
Its good that they speak “very fast” because that’s how people normally speak, so it’s a way to get used to the speed.

Thanks for making a video about cases, I've been having such a hard time with them especially accusative and dative.
My favorite German Teachers! This video is so helpful, thank you kindly. And please, post other whenever you can do it, we are waiting...
Excellent young ladies. Danke
Sehr gut! Very good viedeo, particularly for all the good examples. And part of the video takes place right in front of where my friends in Münster live!
... vielen dank
Very cute. And helpful. Useful for a beginner like me to hear the language at a normal speed once in a while and it's mostly repetitive so easy enough to follow along unless. The subtitles are very helpful.
Your Videos always, always, always brings us something to learn. Is completely impossible to watch and don't capture something new and helpful. So, a would like to tell something you probable never think about. Few years ahead many of us, now beginners in German Language, may remember all these videos, the production, locations, as well as the presenters, just willingness and ordinary people, as good friends, as lovely teachers. Thanking forever and ever, hugs from Brazil.
What about now, are you fluent now?
You're the best, Pia and Lisa! keep helping me in learning German and i'm gonna follow You ;)
