@Linda Pietrasz I've only heard him swear a couple of times, and that's how we know he's frustrated. There's something that makes me giggle when he says things like "turd" or "snot"... I guess cause it's so unexpected haha

@Linda Pietrasz I get it. I have a sister who never swears - I mean, this woman has never so much as said the word "fart" - and I admire her for that. We've become so accustomed to swearing that most people don't even react to the F bomb anymore. It's refreshing to hear someone speak the way Post 10 does (or doesn't, as the case may be).

To all those saying he needs to bring a saw...he said hand clearing without tools is what makes it fun! Of course, the rake is an extension of Post, so it is not a tool. 😄

It's all fun and games, until you wrench your back, tryin to move a log, that's too heavy. If he had a 14" Silky Bigboy, he could have been way more productive, cleared that one and went looking for the next.

Glad to see the lumberjacks up and at'em this summer; lumber and wood product prices have shot up into the stratosphere here! Here's hoping they have a good, safe harvest this season! If I did what you did...all that semi-stagnant, leach-infested, snake-crawling, bare hand on slimy rotten logs, and bugs, and fungus....I'd have to get out of my car when I got home and have one of those tent shower things set up with four hazmat ppl there to scrub me down with super soap and hot water before I went inside, and then burn my clothes. A bit too much of the outdoor "eeeeiiiiuuuu" factor for this city girl, so, thank you, Post10, for doing this for your community and for our hard-working loggers, because I wouldn't be able to.

Make the logging companies pay to have the culverts checked and cleaned on a regular basis. They make millions and taxpayers are supposed to foot the bill. Those trucks beat the hell out of the roads and the companies have the equipment to do the job.. I applaud this guy because he cares about his community and we need a whole lot more people like him today.

I was wondering how you feel about using a snatch block with some kind of hand crank for big jobs like this? Maybe a used hand crank from an old boat trailer? I remember you saying you like doing this work with as few tools as possible. This may be a way to do both while extending your longevity. Your a hard working guy and I enjoy watching your dedication. Thanks man.
