I want her insurance! I had a partial mastectomy (1/2 the breast and removal of lymph nodes) and went home that day.
Silkendrum Do billionaires even bother with health insurance? I'm sure it's cheaper not to when you have so much money. Us ordinary folk get insurance because we can't afford big bills in one go.
The President and First Lady get healthcare free. But otherwise, Trump is famously tightfisted (look who his private physician was before the election), so I suspect if he were paying for it, she'd have had an outpatient procedure.
She is the First Lady of the United States.
Silkendrum, I had a complete mastectomy and was in for 3 days, before I could go home, with a lot of recovery after that. However, in some ways this condition that Melania had is more touchy, and they have to make certain there is NO chance that where they entered to do the procedure, absolutely will NOT leak, and cause her to bleed out. With any mastectomy, there is very little danger of that.
Silkendrum Good insurance just kills you sooner, you don't want to stay in the hospital. This should be her cause.

sherry blackwood I have heard of so many problems with this procedure that I'm surprised they are still doing it. My feeling on this is that there are many noninvasive modalities that should of been tried. I wish she had a doctor like Dr John Bergman for another option. I'm actually surprised they are still doing this procedure.I sure hope this situation remains benign.
