IMO, Abandoned Candy never stood a chance at being a monkey. Over and over, and over again, the troop tried to (often lovingly) teach her. Only for idiotic humans to consistently demolish her chances by throwing her that dumb blanket she hides under. Further separating her from the troop and any hope of appearing "normal" to the other monkeys. They were beyond patient with her constant extreme clingyness, psychosis, dramatics and CONSTANT squalling and squeaking. I heard a sad rumor that she was gutted and killed by a male.
Candy died a hero. She inspired me to rescue a little, abused bonnet macaque who was terrified of everything. She’s come a long way and I named her after the monkey who inspired me to help put an end to this shit. Her name is Candy.

What we are witnessing is the damage caused to this animal by human intervention. In its short life, it has endured the trauma of being separated from its birth mother and then being raised to believe it is something other than a monkey only to be thrown back into an environment now totally alien where it understands nothing. The hope is it will somehow become a monkey again. It is sadly unlikely.
Пару недель , максимум месяц будет так как и остальные , в этом парке очень много обезьян которых брали на личение или откормить и все они возвращались домой, есть которые жили у людей до подросткового возраста и тоже возвращались (атавизм) и инстинкты очень сильны . В парке им нет необходимости добывать себе пропитание там привозят еду каждый день и конечно туристы то же подкармливают. Так что не надо утрировать и драматизировать .
She is so precious. How could someone have no heart. Leaving her there with no knowledge of the forest and other Monkeys or how to get food is despicable. I'd love to smack the person that did that to her. I love her. She's the best....
Exactly!! And then in one video I saw her playing with her towel, just by herself. Then suddenly the vid cuts and she's standing on 2 legs crying and looking everywhere for it. The VO's took it and hid it. You know they did. She was probably not treated very well as a pet, then she was released to live amongst all strangers. The one security she had was her towel. Then they took it while she wasn't looking, and she was beside herself. Its awful!
Where is the video of the camera man taking away the towel because it will hinder her from integrating with her environment properly...that was the most fascinating and important monkey video I've ever seen because of how her fellows primates consoled her...the camera man did the right thing and protected her from neumonia... but the footage is gone...WHY? (atleast I can't find it anywhere)
@@JonathanMartinez320 Ok I will look but there is only one video that shows that moment specifically and shows the other monkeys kind of consoling her for lose but I saw it once and never saw it afterwards..I think maybe some idiots moaned at the uploader for doing the right thing for the animals survival and he took it down or something.

I swear she's had like four different towels. I think people see her raggedy towel and decide to give her a new one either 'cos they feel badly for her or because they think it's funny to see how the other macaques react to her with her funny towel -__-

Taking away that towel is what killed her. She wouldn't shut up when she was alone and she annoyed all the other monkeys. If she would have had her towel, she would have been quiet at night; instead she got attacked by an alpha male. She would have outgrown the towel. 🙁
@@kimsmith5533 that's nonsense, they sleep huddled up with each other in trees, she would've had to sleep on the ground by herself with that blanket, she would've been killed by another animal unless neumonia got her first from sleeping under a wet rag by herself...it stopped the other monkeys interacting with her in such away that they became properly integrated...

The should have taken her home since she did not know how to eat on her own. She got attacked by another monkey. That same 2 weeks Janice and jerry went missing. They were hanging out with candy before the attack but then when missing after. I hope those 2 poor babies are still alive.
