Thank you for this! Trying to decide between the two currently! I think I’m going with the tambourin?? Idkkkk the buckle has me torn, I’m sure overtime the flap would stay down sans buckle but I noticed it kept coming open when you laid it down. Do you think it will sit well like on a table or does the strap pull it onto it’s side?
Jordan Stevens yep that notorious buckle hehehe. I usually lay it down on my lap or on a chair. If I decide to lay it on the table, it better has a napkin underneath 😂😂😂 but yea it’s virtually impossible to let it sit on a buckle due to the strap and buckle. Bear in mind the small boute chapeau bag will have that same issue on the strap as they are similar strap. Regular boute chapeau bag has no issue. In fact it’s been sitting up on my table for days now 🤗💕
I was going to get smaller size boite chapeu in the damier azure, but now i have to reconsider. Because you mentioned in the video that it can’t fit the phone. I can’t hold my phone all the times, i will lost it. Plus i have two little kids, i have to have the bag that fit my phone. Your new bag is so cute.
Do you find it troublesome to open/close every time coz you’ll need to unbuckle the belt in order to open and close it every time ? Comparing to example zipped or magnet closure probably will be much more convenient, yet you probably can’t open the buckle with single hand too
Yi Wen Lai I don’t buckle it fully when I use the bag. It’s ok since it’s on the bottom of the bag not top. So things inside the bag are safe. I find however I need to lay the bag on the back instead of sitting it upright whenever I put it on the table.

Kacey K it depends on your phone size. Mine is the largest phone. If you have the smaller phone it might fit. Good luck!
