My best horse so far I called Calvaro Star (Archie) was by Cavalier Royale VII ( by Cor de la Bryere ). Archie took after Cor de la Bryere for his front-end technique. Archie was brilliant in-front that's why Jan Tops bought him at Dublin (Aug. 2000) off L.C.C. (I had sold him to L.C.C. (March 2000, age 5 ), great rider of a Novice jumper L.C.C.). With Jan Tops stable jockey ( Rider ) R.G.B. & Calvaro Star nearly was the first ISH horse to win a young horse World Final in Laneken Sept. 2000. Last fence down placed 6th in the Final. My brother, Jim Gaffney & I plus L.C.C. most have done something right. Calvaro Star then went to Samanath Mc Intosh (BUL) and won 3 Int. Speed comps. 1.40m & 1.45m. Plus a CSIO 4 star Nations Cup win for Bugaria. Marc Bettinger won on him too. A Very Lucky horse. Cor de la Bryere blood is Lucky for us. I "know" where there is a grey grandson of Cornet O. - this boy Can Jump "scopey" age 8 in 2018, done nothing, only 18 points in Ireland. He reminds me of Clinton for his "spirit" but a bit more rideable. A young woman owns/rides this grey, gelding.

Thank you so much for sharing! But Göteborg was 1997, 1996 was Geneve.
