Expedition "Go Africa" - Ep. 13 (Namibia - Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Fish River Canyon)

(Česky na konci) And we are finally in the last 13th episode of the of our African adventure - we come into the world's oldest desert, the Namib Desert. We are heading to the giant red dunes in Sossuvlei, where at sunrise we struggled to climb to Big Mama Dune. Above the valley dunes then we're going with our flying camera. And in the infernal desert heat we get into the surrealistic Deadvlei valley with petrified acacias, surrounded by dunes of the Namib.
In the finale of our trip we drive through the desert to the very same south of Namibia, the world's second largest canyon Fish River Canyon. Above this giant rift at the end of the world ("On the Edge of Eternity..."), we again fly with the Phantom multirotor and camera, and sadly, but happily (before 1.700 km long crossing to Pretoria, S.A.), bye with Africa.

A jsme konečně v poslední 13. epizodě našeho afrického dobrodružství - přijíždíme do nejstarší pouště světa, pouště Namib. Míříme za gigantickými rudými dunami v Sossuvlei, kde s námahou při východu slunce vystoupáme na Big Mama. Nad údolím dun poté letíme s naší létající kamerou. V pekelném pouštním vedru se doplahočíme do surrealistického údolí Deadvlei se zkamenělými akáciemi, obklopeného dunami Namibu.
Ve finále naší cesty se stovkami kilometrů přes pustiny pouští Namibie pouštíme na cestu na její samý jih, k druhému největšímu kaňonu světa Fish River Canyon. Nad touto obří trhlinou na konci světa opět létáme s Phantomem a kamerou, a smutně, ale šťastně, se před přejezdem do Pretorie, dlouhým 1.700 km, loučíme s Afrikou.

Tolle Aufnahmen....aber: Düne 45 ist nicht Big Daddy....die ist direkt am deadvlei....😉

Nothing like that or I'm not saying - Dune 45 is still a little way before Sosusvlei, Big Dady rises directly above Deadvlei (which is part SosusVlei) across from Big Mama.
And by the way, the area of Dune 45 (ie. 45 km from the gates of the national park) is generally considered part of Sosusvlei, so it's not easy :-) Look at the film again, nothing like it'm not saying...
