If there were no limitations like handsize and such, the theoretical maximum Tickatus’s you could play with that deck is 24. You Felosophy the Tickatus twice (3 total) and play them, then you play Y’Shaarj to get another three (6 total), then you Sathrovar the Y’Shaarj, then you play the Y’Shaarj in hand, giving you another 6 (12 total) and finally you play the last Y’Shaarj and theoretically get another 12 (24 total). The actual maximum is 22. Or I’m totally wrong and I forgot something or did my math wrong. (I forgot something so ignore this whole first part)
Edit: Theoretical maximum changed, I forgot Sathrovar is a demon. So you Felosophy the Sathrovar twice, play Tickatus, play Y’Shaarj (2 total), Sathrovar Y’Shaarj three times, play Y’Shaarj 6 times (128 total, cuz you double the 2 for the first one, double the 4 for the second, double the 8 for the third etc. So it’s basically 2 to the power of 7). If I did my math right the actual maximum is 41. I’m not gonna write out the whole thing as there is a lot to think about (hand size, drawing each turn etc.), so go check if you think I’m wrong. Actually... go check anyway cuz I’m probably wrong XD Remember to only use cards that are in this deck as the maximum could be more with another deck. (Ignore this I forgot something)
Edit 2.0: I have been informed that you could go infinite with the Sathrovar’s and have infinte Tickatus’s. The replies were playing 4d chess while I was playing checkers.
You’re forgetting that you could Sathrovar your Sathrovar for infinite Tickatus shenanigans
This is good to know when I face against a rogue with about 100 kronxs in their deck

All of you are ignoring discard synergies in Wild.
1. Discard Y’Shaarj and 1st Soulwarden.
2. Play 2nd Soulwarden to get 3rd Soulwarden and Y’Shaarj
3. Corrupt and play Ticketus.
4. You now have infinite Y’Shaarj which gives you infinite Ticketus

you are literally never going to play it earlier than turn 10 or so and it's a win condition for control decks exactly like a normal combo, there is zero difference between tickatus and the ETC combo for example

I got golden unpacket of that big coruption legendary in the deck here.
“Haven’t played a demon hunter all day!” I wish, I’m trying these corrupt and old god decks and I’m facing so many demon hunters that just go face. I hate it, why did they add demon hunter to the game
So, if you Felosophied Sathrovar twice, and played all three drawn Tickatus, you would get seven Tickatus. Then raise dead, get four more Tickatus for a grand total of 11 played. Then Valdris for 12 hand size and then played Y'shaarj, you would end up with
(1+(2×3)+(2×2))2=22 Ticakatus
And 22×5=110 burned cards.
If you want to go crazy, you could play two Expired Merchants to duplicate your Y'Shaarj twice, for a grand total of:
(1+(2×3)+(2×2))×(1+(1×3))=44
And 44×5=220 cards burned.
Note that you can't hold more than two Y'Shaarj or your hand will overflow and I can't find a way in warlock to clear your board enough to play your 11 Tickatus a turn.

If you play 2 felosophy and the base one, y'shaarj for three more, sathrovaar the y'shaarj, play y'shaarj for 6 more, and the last one for 10 more giving 22 tickatus for 140 deleted cards as a max in standard

Control decks are viable in wild(most of deep legend in wild are 40/40 in term of aggro and control..other 20% to other type...not too sure about standard but soul dh struggle to get deep in, in wild)
I see people like the first opponent do battlecry quest shaman for cthun and yogg. But honestly, spell based yogg shaman with cthun is more consistent, especially with polkelt.
What Keli'dan could be substituted with?
Probably siphon soul, to keep corrupting the 4 mana card. You could also try hellfire if u find too much agro (or the new demon that deals 2 to non demons)

Please make spell mage with Cthun. I made a deck and idk if it's just cause its early in the expansion, but its seems disgustingly good with quest and reno hero card. Also, the 4 mana discover secret spell is alot better than I thought.

Well if Ticky boy gets a nerf, then you'll be able to disenchant him for full dust. So really depends on the other cards you may need to craft
Its really not that strong at all hunters, rogue, DH, and lucky druids with two light bloom can easily beat this its not a bad deck but a really strong deck

I know it's an archetype that literally nobody cares about, but it really bothers me that Tickatus doesn't say "Discard" instead of "Remove".
It doesn't need to say remove, it doesn't have any synergy. Tickatus would be a lot better if it did say "Discard" because then it would have a lot of use with Lakkari Sacrifice Questlock, Blood-Queen Lana'thel, or hell, it'd be awesome to use it with Soulwarden and get 3 of the cards you discarded from your opponent's deck.
Hell, it'd even be playable uncorrupted if it did have the "Discard" keyword because of stuff like Boneweb Egg, Hand of Gul'Dan, Clutchmother Zavas, Silverware Golem, Fist of Jaraxxus or High Priestess Jeklik, but as it has "Remove" it's unplayable uncorrupted.

Yeah I noticed a significant drop in aggro....feelsgoodman...
I'm just terrified of him showing up in Reno Warlock Decks... Bran, Tickatus and a duplicator alone would be at least 15 cards burnt with a single tick of discount... and that's before other card burn effects like Gnomeferatu are brought into play.
That's half your deck and a huge blow to any sort of combo deck's potential if the game drags on. The fact that it's a card that would slot into a deck with a lot of options for beating aggro is just nasty.
He is a demon that can be pulled by Voidcaller and Willow. That holds him back a decent amount since you plan to use Voidcaller and Willow to pull your anti-aggro demons.
@@wraxiusgaming I was having a decent time last night with just the range of anti-aggro spells Warlock has, and combining that with the other anti-aggro options in Warlock.
Having him in your deck lets you shift to a lower curve, and as such you tend to run a lighter demon package and some of the other corrupt cards for mid game board control. The two neutrals with rush are great for that, and the likes of Kartut are still excellent taunts vs aggro boards. Tossing in Felosophy and a few more cheap boardclears kept things rolling too. Went 4-1 with the deck at Diamond 3, though there's still some fine tuning to do.
Might also try a pure demon list and see how that works out, but losing Zeph and Kazakus is probably going to be a relatively big negative.
Regis could be getting tortured in Guantanamo bay, and he would still make it seem like fun. I've never seen anyone make a video game look as enjoyable as he does.

Yes, sort of. He was talking about channel dust, a type of currency on Regis's twitch stream. There is a new feature that came out yesterday called Predictions. When a Prediction is happening you can bet your channel dust and if your prediction is right you win dust proportional to your bet. :)

@@rajkanishu Tickatus is not even combo requirement...warlock just play their usual cards and it get corrupt in due time...its like holding kazakus waiting to be play along brann...except that he dont need brann if need to rush play him....effect is busted even without any support...with support is beyond broke(as u seen in te first game)...burn the entrety of your opponent deck early game

There is the 2 mana discard your highest cost card to get 2 of them. This way you can get up to 20 tickatusses, and burning 100 cards xd

it is obviously a frustrating combo for the opponent. However, frustrating and OP are not the same. you do not consistantly burn all the good cards of your opponents There are many decks that can beat it. I actually think the meta feels pretty balanced.

I made a multi ticketus deck after watching this and it's scary how well it does. A card I added was sense demons cause it pulls ticketus early

I love the flavour of this card. But if only one class has access to this control card, then all other control decks (e.g. warrior, shaman) are just left out and it stops diversity and creativity... Additionally, they can copy it with 'Yshaarj or Felosophy and there's not really anything you can do about that since cards like Dirty Rat aren't available... I hope they don't wait a month to change this error.
