  • A quick update on the cereals and grass we direct drilled in the autumn using a Weaving Sabre Tine and a John Deere 750A.

    good video with fab explanations - might be useful to add dates of planting when you talking about following other crops harvests for us livestock only farmers that are getting into covercrops/herbal leys.

    God so much to learn. Really like what you are doing. For a smaller farm like ours what drill would you recommend for cereal sowing into covers and cover crop sowing into stubbles ? .. What's your soil like ? How many years of no ploughing ?

    Hi billy great video as glyphosate doesn’t kill clover what mix and rates are you spraying off pre drilling.

      2.5L/ha glyphosate. Plus citric and fulvic acid.

    I have a weaving sabre tine do you ever struggle with reaving up/ blocking up with trash.

      We did have some issues with it getting through stubbles that had been combined very high. But apart from that never a problem, goes through catch/cover crops no issue!
