I like Dindin here, he says everything i had in my mind out loud. Usually guests don't express themselves freely since i guess they don't want to appear aggressive, but it felt refreshing that he said everything i wanted to shout at my screen lol
Haeun is such a good girl. Her mother should give her some time to hangout with friends and have fun. She should try to compliment and understand her more. Awww she's saying her life is hard at that age. I feel so bad for her.

DinDin should become apart of the cast like how Taejoon did. I feel bad for Haeun, kids her age should be out having fun and making memories and her mom should show her more love and shouldn't be too strict and she shouldn't make her read for food or buy her kimbap from the shops and should let her watch TV sometimes :( Haeun is so adorable and DinDin with her is so cuteee!!!!!! The exams she takes are not her final one and are just little assessments to check how she is doing so it don't matter if she gets a few wrong and her mom needs to stop acting like it's going to ruin everything and like DinDin said "why do you force your ego onto your child" there is no reason for her to do that.

The girl with the second concern needs therapy, just before she said she was depressed I already knew she was. I suffer from depression and I have been in debt and even though you're aware you should fix it it's hard because we feel like we need things to make us feel better. I can identify with her. I think this all started because of her dad. People shouldn't be so quick to judge. I've always believed people are the way they are for a reason. I hope she gets the help she needs and her mum gets out of debt

I'm crying throughout the second concern. I don't know what to say anymore.. I just want the mother to be happy again. It feels like she has loss her smile long ago.. Ahjumma please be happy again I'm praying for you 🙏 and for the daughter if you are reading this you are not a human. How could you leave your mother like that? Please for God sake go and get a life for yourself 😥

I agree with you that she might use the state of depression as an excuse and etc. But I believe that we are not the one with the right to judge other people. I know, she girl is making me mad as well, because she not treating her mother the appropriate way, but humans are very likely to judge people right away without thinking about consequences, that's why we get so much hate in this world. (I don't say they're any consequences in this case, but that's what happens in reality). Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend that girl, I just suggest that people should restraint themselves from being too harsh when judging other people.

I thought the dad who smoked around his kids was bad, but I think I legit hate her mom. I've going to cut her some slack cuz Haeun isn't afraid to laugh at jokes about her mom in a playful way so at least she's not deathly afraid of her, which counts for something.

The second concern annoyed and saddened me. Yes she's depressed but that isn't an excuse. She's depressed and her mom is living in poverty. Like, get help. Or deal with the debt yourself, don't make your mom do it. Somehow I feel like she wants her mom to suffer for the hardships she went through as a child but that's not fair. It's not her mom's fault they were poor, she's really trying hard. There are crappy moms in the world and she has a beautiful, sweet and kind mom, I hope she treats her better.
And the first concern, they need to change before it's too late. All that studying when you hate it can break you.
I really don't get these studying concerns. Not getting breaks and not getting to eat until her father comes home at around 11 PM when she should be sleeping at that time is concerning. I don't think studying in itself is a concern.

I might be talented at studying, even though I think I'm terrible at it, but I've never once thought studying has been stressful or tiring. I've gotten tired of studying, and I've gotten tired while studying. I've never gotten tired because of studying. If you do something for long enough, of course you'll get tired. As I said, not getting breaks is a concern. Knowledge is the lightest tool you can carry.
She also shouldn't study that much, but of course, that's quite obvious to pretty much anyone else. In fact, I'd argue that if one can't get at least pass grades without studying, the teacher is doing a bad job at teaching. She's pressured into getting perfect scores, but even then, it should be done in moderation. Simply because you study more doesn't mean the results will improve. It's like trying to kill a dead fish after a certain point. You already killed it, you can't kill it again. There'll be no more progress.
As for this concern, the mother has little to no knowledge of the actual level of her kid, because she doesn't care. She only cares for results. She might be way ahead of the curve, but her mother wouldn't know. However, being ahead of the curve doesn't really achieve much at the end of the day. She still has to keep the pace of what is being taught in school, and being taught new things can actually be detrimental, especially in classes such as mathematics. Of course, the people who teach her won't say anything, because it's basically a money machine, it gives them a job.
Sigh... there's so much to say about the subject. It's really frustrating.

Bahar Love yourself, I got good grades and I regret not studying more. Most people have regret, if not all. I think regret is unavoidable. Whatever we do, there will be regret. We can't do everything.
but this isn't the choice she made for herself so if her mother continues forcing her to do that she will end up with a heart full of anger for her mother! and trust me this feels like being dissolved in HCl! not the fact she studies hard but the fact she has no one to rely on is really scary for me, because I experienced it! if her parents support her more and love her unconditionally she will study even better! English is not my first language so I hope I could explain the problem properly!

The first concern really hurt me so much oh my god. It always hurts me when adults always say "you're stressed?? Wait til you graduate and work" or something like that. Cause everyone, old or young all have their own concerns. Everyone is allowed to be stressed about anything. And it hurts seeing haeun who wants to play with her friends, even for a little bit of time, wasnt able to do that. And the fact that the parents think haeun making a little mistake and say to her like she's doing the worst is too harsh. I know they want to "motivate" her but really, thats not the way to do it. And im glad haeun went to hello counselor and finally got acknowledged and got complimented for her achievements. And it seems like dindin got close to her super quick and was being super playful with her its so adorable. I hope haeun will do great and will not be as stressed, and i hope she'll live a happy childhood
My grandmother brushed her teeth with charcoal for years. It's actually great to remove stains from teeth. However, obviously the last concern is a little too much haha
I’m really mad at the girl on the second concern. How can she be like that to her mother. Her mother works hard and she just treat her like trash almost. I’m so frustrated 😩.

She's totally like my mom 😭 after i got in middle school .. i really become rebellious and always got a bad grade and make many mistakes.. i also lost self esteem and scared of people cause i lose my trust.. Everytime i was consult to counselor .. they said i was diagnosed by depression and social anxiety !! It's really hard to make a life since I'm only 18 now

The 1st problem... The sweet little girl is a sunshine!!!!!!! She is always smiling and laughing even with all the things she has to endure from her parents not giving her any credit, but at the same time, you can really see she is hurting. SHe goes from laughing to crying very easily... That is not AT ALL a good sign... She is facing for sure mental distress and starting a depression state that if it is not taken care of right now, will hunt her forever... And the fact that she says that she wants to work even harder so her parents praise her... Not good... Too much pressure and (again) distress, she is showing. The nice fact is that she laughs very naturally! She has a sense of humor and empathy for other people around her. We all need to learn how to face life and continuing fighting as this little sweet girl does. I hope this teaches her parents a valuable lesson. Taegyun is such an amazing man! SO sweet and he really knows how to talk to kids and comfort them... To be honest, I like all the MC's, but Taegyun and Young-ja are my favorite. And DinDin, tho... What a sweetheart... Head over hills!!! Our Sunshine girl found her prince showing her "fingers heart"!!! Hahahahah! SO adorable!!!!!!!!
Honestly, this show had made me cry so many times ever since I started binge-watching their episodes. It made me realize that I'm a sympathetic crier, lmao! I always thought I was a tough cookie since I almost never cried whenever I watched videos about sad stories of all sorts of abuse, rape, neglect and pain, and all those horrible things that happen all the time. I mean, I knew I wasn't cold since I did sympathize with those people, I just rarely cried. But there's just something about this show specifically that makes me burst into tears whenever I hear about the hardships people go through from all ages :T But I guess that's a good thing...??

the first case is tricky because her parents are treating her differently than her brother. It will definitely end in a sibling relationship in which haeun will hate her brother and detest her parents for their pressure....
the mother of the first concern makes me soooooooooooooooooooooo mad omggggg i just want to ell at her! she didn't finish her studies because she hated it so she should understand how it is to do something you don't like!!!! my mother is the same, since she married young and had my sister and i at a really young age she couldn't finish her studies to become a doctor so now she is forcing it on me even thougt she know i hate anything about science and medicine , if she keeps being like this it will bring apart their relationship and they will not talk to each other again

Only idiots with no formal study in any field of education such as medicine, statistics or related studies would believe things the lady in the 3rd concern did lol. Just because it worked for a few people around you does it mean it's going to work for everyone? Do you think everybody has the same body chemical composition as you do? What if I am allergic, have a lower immune system, have a certain type of recessive gene that is suppressed until now? Do you know that treatments go through various clinical and statistical tests before they are even rolled out to the public?
So if you think the aunty's treatment is good for everyone's health, why not you just replace doctors with this amazing "Bamboo Charcoal" treatment you found on youtube? Or while you are at it replace toothpaste companies with the charcoal toothpaste treatment? I laughed when she said that "feeling dizzy" is part of a detoxification process. I highly doubt any person who believe in fortune tellers and spends $1000 a month on health products has any scientific knowledge of how charcoal breaks down in your body when you consume it.
Secondly, are you going to take responsibility when the person you introduced the health products to get sent into the hospital? When good things happen you tend to recommend it to your friends and take responsibility for it but when bad things happen can you do the same?
Charcoal is dangerous to eat too often even if your digestive system is normal. They're banning it from food in diff countries (it turned it black n made it look cool).
If it's weaker/different (IBS/ Gluten sensitivity/ Crohn's etc) then the charcoal will block your absorbing cells and mess your digestive system up badly.
I am legit crying after hearing Haeun's concern. She is just in class 4 and she does so many after school activities. When I was her age I just had 2 music and dance class every week . Tbh Now Im 22 and even without taking that much tuition I'm pretty good in studies. Her mom is just forcing her thoughts onto her. By the time she is of my age I bet if this continues she will lose her interests . I hope now she gets to rest atleast like other 4th graders.

Second concern is so bad. The daughter is extremly selfish due to the trauma that the dog died and that she made her mother responsible for that. Deep down she knows that her Father is the villain here but since she cant see him or call him and doesn't know where he live s (i assume) she cant confront him and the victim is automatically the mom. The mother needs to be consequent one and for all !!!

the woman from the third concern is a bit too much, but what she says about charcoal is mostly true. i dont know if it can help her with fever etc., but it is really effective when it comes to detoxing your body. due to the strongly developed surface, therapeutic charcoal has a high capacity for absorption. it has those pores, so i guess you can say it works kind of like a sponge, it absorps the toxins.
since i was a kid, my parents treated me with activated charcoal pills when i had food poisoning or diarrhea, and i heard some use it to cure their hangovers - haven't tried that, but i know charcoal's effective when it comes to gut problems, so who knows, maybe it works... and also when i had acne, my dermatologist introduced me to some kind of charcoal product, and it worked wonders
The first mother is so... so wrong... Due to familial pressures for not being good enough, student suicide rates of kids from ages 10-18 are highest in the world right now. That's my little sister's age... I can't imagine it... children that age killing themselves... School had given into capitalism a long time ago. The inventor of standardized tests, Frederick J Kelly himself said: "These tests are too crude to be used and should be abandoned." As he took a stand to counter the education system he himself had helped create, he was asked to step down as a teacher. That mother... she's too terrible to be called one. Although she cries when her child cries, she is the very cause of her suffering. Not giving love and compliments... calling her 99% score a zero because it isn't perfect... should the child think of herself as a failure, then? A mere fourth grader... look at her... she shouldn't be crying like that, she should be playing and although the mother said she wants her to do what she wants when she grows up, how is she to know what she would want to do when she has spent her whole life following exactly what her mother tells her, without any time to find what she likes. From first-hand experience, I can say that sort of treatment made me cry for every small thing I did wrong and call myself a failure for days for a simple mistake. I thought of my future and couldn't see anything. I thought, what good is it to live? What am I living for? I'll say, it would be better to stop living... These were my thoughts ever since I was in grade 8 until now when I have begun university. I am 18 years old...

I kind of can relate to the first concern. When I was at her age and got good grades, I would bring it home and my family would be like "It's natural for you to get good grades." etc. and it's quite upsetting not getting complimented. Haeun's concern is so upsetting, really. Why can't the mom understand that her daughter is having a hard time with all the studies she has to do, and she doesn't even get complimented when she only wants to hear that she did a good job?! :(
