i more and more believe that Pochita was actually an Unknown Devil - aka The Fear of the unknown, or the Forgoten Devil - aka The Fear of being forgoten, of meaning nothing, or being left to die. Those two would explain why the Chainsawman is so powerfull and why he can erase anything that he eats. I mean the Fear of the unknown might be even worse than the Death devil, or they may be something like siblings, becouse do we as a people fear the unknown becouse it could kill us, or do we fear death becouse we don't know whats after?

Makes sense that gun would be war's 'child' given that the fear of war came about long before humans created weapons like guns. Bows, slings and the like were all things used to fight wars at some point before guns were a thing, so it could go without saying that these weapons were replaced with guns and the like as time went on, until you'd reach a point where bows and slings are no longer associated with war.

At least for Yoru. Fujimoto is AMAZING at expressions when...he isn't doing the depressed mouth hang thing for everyone. Him making her face so expressive with half her face gone is just impressive. Even for Fujimoto. He was showing off there. Because of the messy and scratchy lines in Yoru's desperation, I just know this ending moment will be HYPE in the anime

My guess the final scene between War and CSM would be a funny plot twist that turns out the main reason why War wants to fight him because Pochita cheated on her. Then we get a funny backstory of War and Pochita being a married couple living in a house together with War's kids. Then Asa and Denji decided to stop fighting because it sounds so dumb while Pochita and War are yelling at them to continue the battle. Asa kiss Denji then both are seen holding hands while we see an angry War and Pochita in the background argue against each other. Part 2 is finished. I won't be surprised if half of that comes true

I interpreted Yoru’s use of mother as more of a symbolic title, like a blanket term that encompasses all the devil concepts that full under her specific branch of fear (ie guns, tanks, nukes etc.)
Since we know certain devils can double dip of one another ( like all devils getting buffed after Gun devil rampage, Yoru getting buffed off increased fear in CSM ) it’d create a hierarchy in terms of potency and could explain why she choose Guns & Tanks to use specifically

So, my theory is that theres death devil, and he gave birth to yoru, fami etc. In the war, people needed weapons to fight, so new concepts of fear were invented and with that, new devils. But because gun for example was made for war, yoru is his mum. So to sumer it up, humans are making new devils and they are children of bigger ,, ranked devil,, or devils make children which humans are scared of idk haha
