We went to the Drop Inn last week. Only wanted a 1.5€ beer. When we said we didn’t want food their attitude towards us completely changed. Wouldn’t go back.
Hi to you both. The food did look pretty plain but as you said Andrew a wee sauce probs would have made all the difference. Glad you enjoyed the bingo. Looks fantastic in the English Rose 🌹 it's doubled in size (looks like they bought the one next door) Will visit in Feb when we go to La Siesta (have also stayed at the Ora Blanco previously. Keep up the good work 👏🏻 🙌 👍👍👍
It was a very good food review blog today when you visited drop inn restaurant for your dinner and afterwards chilling out playing bingo at the new English rose Las Americas tenerife / you can take mick Garvey and your mum Lydia to the bingo when they come over this week andrew and Laura
Food looked ok, not sure I would want to sit next to the traffic going past, but nice view over towards the Monkey Beach Club. Shame you couldn't finish your night off with a Bingo win, better luck next time.
I agree could have had some sauce. The chicken looked a little dry. Will be trying one of the value meals when over in January. I would like to try Chucky's on las vista beach.
Hi Andrew great review as ever food looked good. Have to disagree with you wouldn't expect pepper sauce to be included on a no frills 3 course for a tenner. I suppose you could have paid a small extra charge for the pepper sauce. I really like these value 3 course menu reviews you do keep them coming. Thanks
The hubby and I went to The English Rose last week, we had breakfast, so many people where smoking at their tables whilst they where eating I'm afraid we ate a ran...totally put us off..xx
Had a couple of breakfasts in the English Rose last week, nothing special but ok for the price. Went into the Savoy for a couple of 3 course meals, very nice but as you say very fast service as they want you in and out as fast as possible. (Giddy Goose breakfasts are much better but they do not open till 09:30 )
@@TheKnightStrider yes mate, last breakfast was on the 15th, had a choice of fried egg or scrambled both of us chose scrambled, when the bill came in they had charged us for extra scrambled egg. just left it cos not worth arguing over a couple of euro but will not go back as there is better out there
I was in English Rose in September. Ordered poached egg. The white of the egg was still clear had to send it back.... disgusting. Few people were querying their bill as well that same morning

We went to the drop Inn for breakfast, we ordered and what a disaster all our breakfasts were wrong. Three breakfasts were served and we had to wait about fifteen minutes for the other three breakfasts. Would not recommend for breakfast, better going to bora bora.

We have been to 3 restaurants where sauce is included and the price for 3 courses was cheaper than this restaurant

Those portions don’t look that small. I do struggle with the portion sizes when we go out. I hate to waste food but sometimes they just beat me.

Been in October went for breakfast with my grandchildren and they was a lot of people smoking in there not very nice when you are eating 😢
