Oh wow, you won't believe what happened this last Saturday!! My dear hubby bought me a beautiful, brand new Sakkusu tenor saxophone from Sax London in Stamford Street, the other side of Borough Market, and it's absolutely amazing!! So now I have taken up the tenor sax, which has been made possible by using a harness!! Well who knew!!!! Anyway. I'm so excited about my new tenor sax, and once I start playing, I don't want to stop!! Looking forward to having another practise later today. 🤩

It was written in Paris in early 1945 after the Liberation of most of France but WWII was still raging... amazingly by a Hungarian Jewish guy who was resident in France.. it was likely knocking around in his head during the dark days of the War. This tune could easily have never been - burned to nothing at Auschwitz...
