Big Falls and Mary Jane Falls trails are connected by the same trailhead up Kyle Canyon Road in Mount Charleston. Both require going up in elevation but are fairly short and not too difficult. As far as following the trail goes Mary Jane Falls was very easy and it was a pretty smooth trail. The trail up to Big Falls was a little less clear but it was still easy to make my way up to the falls as I just followed the stream most of the way up.
This is very easy drive out of Las Vegas, if you are traveling to Las Vegas and going to be here for several days, spend a day outside of the city and enjoy some peace and tranquility on the sky island of Mount Charleston.

Pretty waterfalls. I suppose you've acclimated to the high altitude since you've been living their for a while?
We're pretty low in elevation but the mountains don't seem to affect me too much when we go, at least not until higher elevation. I could feel it when hiking Mt Charleston last summer a little bit, especially 10k and above
I did little falls & it was super short & a mini waterfall! I hiked it about 2 weeks ago. Super quick & beautiful. I want to do this one next
I've seen pictures of Little Falls but I haven't been there yet, it looks nice!

Fantastic waterfall, gees...and the snow dustings really made it out to seem like you were further from vegas then you are! So cool!!
