My question though, after you scrapped the "tenacious calculus" from the roots, without coming out of the tooth pocket, how do you get it like, out of the mouth.? The Gracey instruments are cool btw! I don't know if my hygienist uses them, but I'll be sure to ask at my next cleaning. 😁

Pooka my hygienist uses a cavitron with lots of water and small suction.
Usually the pocket is irrigated with some sort of medicated rinse like chlorhexidine or something. A cavitron also helps irrigate.
What is the difference with 11/12 vs 13/14 besides the angle of shank....
The 11/12 is for the mesial & the 13/14 is for the distal
