no solo hay nieve ahi!! se han encontrado piezas arqueológicas en el centro de las lagunas, es un lugar casi religioso para nosotros los mexicanos y la vista no se compara con nada
There´s not only snow there! archaeological pieces have been found in the center of the lagoons, it´s an almost religious place for us Mexicans and the view doesn´t compare with anything, just simply WONDERFUL
KoRnot ah, algo similar al uso ceremonial de los pueblos Maya para con los cenotes? Definitivamente hay que ir a conocer el Nevado de Toluca, que de las lagunas son dos, una la de la Luna, la otra de la del Sol? Al fin no me queda muy lejos, estoy en mi rancho Santiago de Querétaro! :)
@@qualqui asi es!! se hallaron vestigios de creencias y prácticas rituales que durante siglos practicaron los habitantes del valle de Toluca y alrededores y hasta hace algun tiempo aun se podia bucear en una de las lagunas; OJO!! los gringos subieron en temporada cuando aun se puede subir en coche casi hasta la punta pero esto ya no se podra cuando las temperaturas bajen aun mas (Diciembre-Enero) solo se podra subir a pie desde las faldas del volcan pero igual es una experiencia inolvidable

Wow! What else can you say? I've heard of Toluca for decades and I knew there was a volcano but I didn't know it is so incredibly beautiful. Sure wish I were a lot younger.

Me gustaría tanto ir por Tolua. Si algún día lo hago, entonces dire por esta canal. Tengo cuatro nietos en Monterrey ;-) Estoy pensando de irme allá en enero.

Back in the day when I was a young musician performing in the orchestra’s in DF, I’d drive up quite often to perform in Toluca. I was always captivated by this volcano & wondered what it would be like to climb it. This video makes me regret that I never took that opportunity!
If you guys want to see more snow in Mexico, go to Sierra de Arteaga south Saltillo, Coahuila. It snows for a short period, but worth visit if you have the chance.

Wow! es beautiful the snow, the mountains and the blue sky like a PostCard
We're actually thinking Nevado de Colima is closer to where we'll be hanging so probably visit that general area to get our "snow on" if we find ourselves missing it!
If you do make the side trip, may I recommend you visit Cofradia de Suchitlan (on the Colima side of the Nevado). My cousin Alfonso Orozco & fam operate a quaint/rustic little restaurant called "La Casita del Café" by far some of the best food & coffee (grown & processed here locally) you'll find in Colima & very reasonably priced to boot. 👌
If you are looking for snow in Nevado de Colima, you would have to first visit a High Mountain weather forecast web site because usually the snow there only lasts for a few days after a snow but snow season is comming!

I lived in Chicago too long and I hate snow. I love the the sun 🌞 and the heat of Las Vegas.
Living in Chicago probably takes the fun out of the cold and snow!
G man those are two extremes!! To me Las Vegas is way too hot in the summer, 100+ degrees is way too much for my liking on the other hand I couldn’t live in the extreme cold of Chicago winters. Snow is only fun for so long and only fun when you don’t like in it.. to visit it’s cool but to live no thanks.
