X-Rays arent used in tournament unless they can be used to close out the game. The reason for this is because professionally, MK players tend to save their meter, and an X-Ray takes up 3 of those meter bars. Meter allows for breaker, and for armor on alot of wakeups. Not to mention the X-Ray only does 33 percent damage on its own, and skilled players can achieve 33 percent in a combo of their own with no trouble. Thus, X-Rays are not a viable option. People don't do fatalities because it takes too long to watch the whole fatality when switching between matches. I play Ermac, and I've seen both his Inner Workings and Head Out fatalities 100 times each, so I just restart the match, or go for Brutalities.
