In this video, I explain everything about the Mathematics and Computing branch at IIT Delhi. I current am a 3rd year student in this branch and share my experience about the courses and career opportunities which I have seen and gathered myself and from my seniors.

Note this
Do not see Math to CS as some ratio. That's a very wrong interpretation of this branch. Many of the math courses like probability, data mining, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, optimisation methods etc are taught under different names in different areas but here it's under maths. So don't think that if it's 70:30 math to CS then that 70% is just theoretical maths which is useless. The math courses are very practical and most computation based.

What is the difference between the 4 and 5 year courses at IITD for MnC? can we drop the 5th year (ie MTech) in the 5 year course? Thank you Tiru.
Yea we. Can do it it's just 1 yr more bro
You can't drop the 5 year if you're in that course. The courses are same until the 7th sem then there are some extra courses for the PG part.

I Am Currently A 12th Grader Preparing For JEE Mains And Advanced.
My Aim Is To Get CSE From IIT Delhi And If Not I Have Kept BITSAT As My Backup Option And Aimed For CSE BITS Pilani.
You Had Provided Short Notes For Chapters For The Preparation But Not All Chapters Were Included In It As Per The JEE Advanced Syllabus So Can You Update It?
Also Can You Upload Videos Which Can Help For The JEE Preparation?

Bhai dekh .... Sab log cse main jaa rahe hai isliye waha competition bhi bhot hai or mnc aesi branch hai jisme tum hfts main ja skte ho or Google Microsoft vgera main bhi.... So I think NitW is the best choice for you ... Or branch new ho ya purani aage Jake mnc boom kregi ...

Agar top 7 mein core mil rahi hai to Bombay Delhi hi prefer karna chahiye cuz of location proximity to it hub city life amenities etc

Old IIT are good and don't think about placement, you will find out in college where you are going to work it can be software,ML, consult, product management, finance etc
is this branch suitable for girls.. as my daughter has qualified advanced this year. what is the male , female ratio in this branch.
Every branch here has a 20% supernumerary quota only for girls. The ratio is roughly 3:1 in every branch. Moreover Delhi is a very liberal and inclusive campus. You'll not face any issues because of your gender.
