These guys have crafted some of the best rock around and they sound better than the other bands by far .

Def Leppard is a very underrated band. They get slighted because they’re part of the mostly reviled “hair metal” scene. But they’ve always been really good musicians with some great tunes.
nah, I would not they are underrated. Personally, I think Adrenalize is their last good album. The first five albums are classics.

I'm 23 and i don't think they're underrated. They're awesome. They're one of the best selling bands in the world. They're one of the finest rock bands I've ever heard. I love them as much as i love The Who, Queen, Slade, The Struts.

Yep ! I’m sure they are ! And before any body jumps down my throat. I’ve been a Motley Crue fan from their beginning. But DL has always been a cut above the rest . Because they are so professional!!! You didn’t hear their vocals struggling

I seen the show in Nashville where I live but didn't get to see Poison as Bret was sick .But Def Leppard brought it hard and was so amazing I have always loved then but love them even more. Motley Crue and Joan Jett was good too but Def Leppard had the crowd on there feet the whole time was just energetic hope to see them again and again in Nashville Tennessee.

Its a toss up with me I believe the best vocalists on this tour is up between Brett and Joe!, with also Vince doin' a much better job than what I think everyone expected, and Joan, well hell, shes always awesome!

I played this song and Heading For A Heartbreak when me and my mate hit a rough patch in the beginning..happy to report we are still together almost 20 years but that one year apart felt like an eternity in pure hell.Been a Lep Head since 1984 I was only 8 WOW whatta ride it's been 🎢

I was there! Heat index 114. Our clothes were drenched the entire time. I don’t see how they survived it. Does anyone know why a cameraman was on Mick Mars the entire time? It was like they were getting footage for a bio for him. I felt so sad when I saw him. He’s not well and for him to tour with his conditon…esp in that kind of heat…speaks volumes of his strength. Mick is my favorite from the band but he’s always been overshadowed by his mates drama. He deserves recognition as a top guitarist of his time!!
Yea I bet I drank a gallon of water and never had to pee. Just sweated it out immediately- totally worth it. We went and saw them in Chicago right after that, and talk about a difference. After the sun went down right off Lake Michigan it was cool, wish I would have had jeans on them

Elliot sounds better than the last time I listened to em live….while band sounding good really….surprising.
He has worked really hard on his falsetto for the high parts. Youcan hear that it’s not as strong as his lower voice, but overall great and a good blend👍👍
Honestly I think the 2 years off the road grind may have actually helped Joe.

What a subdued crowd. Alot of different videos of all the bands, posted by different people, the crowds are either just standing there or they're walking all over the place. I've been going to see these bands since the 80's and have never seen crowds so uninterested. Even though this is a slower song, I'd still be rockin' out. And don't blame the heat. Be prepared and stay hydrated, it's summer, so yes, it's gonna be damn hot.

Unfortunately auto-tune has infected almost every inch of music these days. It's even used in live settings now. There is delay and reverb on Joe's mic didnt hear any robot voice. So yes his voice is being augmented doesn't sound like it's that much though. There are way worse offenders out there.
@Sparro there is absolutely some delay and reverb on that mic. You can hear it or does his voice naturally echo like that? That is in fact digital enhancement. Joe is old-school reverb and delay were the auto tune of the 80's. They used those effects in the 80's I know I saw them live. Unless he can make his voice echo at will. Is that his super power?
@@spiderfan1974 That echo is from the speakers around the whole stadium coming back around the air. Its got nothing to do with his mic or any effects. Its just simply the audio echoing back from the speakers
@@TheAidenWrestling reverb and delay was the auto tune of the 1980's Elliots always used both effects live for his vocals. I've seen them live twice both times the effects were there.

NOTHING beats those songs off High n Dry and Pyromania! I was at this show, and to me, this was one of the highlights. Phil absolutely nails this lead guitar solo.
On a side note, Def Leppard sounded so much better than Motley Crue. Their sound was terrible.

what was the crowd like for Def Leppard? I saw them last night in Chicago and it seemed the crowd was for the most part dead, not sure if it was because the crowd was burned out after the long show and Motley Crue who got a great reception, does Def Leppard get a better reception when they are playing 3rd and the crowd is generally dead for Motley when they close the show?
I was there in Chicago also and was surprised how much sleepier the crowd was than I expected

I couldn't even afford one ticket to this if my life depended on it. I minus well cut off both arms and sell them just to go to stadium tour.
I paid $100 for my ticket and there were some cheaper seats higher up in the 75$ range so not terrible I did buy them a year ago tho thats got to be the trick. Gotta look now for next summer see who else I can see

I saw tickets in the nosebleed section for Indy are only $39. My friend got us field seats for the Cincinnati show.

I was at the first stadium show in Atl. and......... everyone had their issues being the first show. They had yet to get the sound quality right for everyone until DL made it to like their 5th song. DL worked it out and Bringin' On The Heartbreak was LOUD and very clear, along with the rest of their set. Crue was absolutely horrible sounding! The kick drum was way too loud and drowned out everything. Of what I could hear, Vince sounded pretty good and sang the words correctly. Joan and Poison were just mediocre because of the poor sound.

Backing track helps! Just like KISS. These guys have always used them for the layered backing vocals that can’t be recreated live

@Jedimaster420 Theres only backing tracks on songs like Foolin, Gods of War, Die Hard The Hunter and Rocket to make it sound like the studio. But their vocals are all live
Maybe backing to help the drummer too? I think he uses tracks to recreate studio sound on like foolin and rocket but I don't know if his voice needs enhancing
You Wrong, DL is one of the few bands that didn't use backing tracks that's why they spend a lot of time in reharsal room, they always has mentioned that becouse it's a lot of work. Motley Crue and Posion use to used backing tracks. Eddie Trunk recognize DL leppard as a one of the few bands that didn't use backing tracks, see any live concert and you gonna see the perfec work and combinations of voices between Vivian Campbell, Phil Collen, and Rick Savage. Rick Allen didn't make backing vocals since 1996 on Slang tour because Vivian it's a great singer and since that tour Vivian do Rick's parts. Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell both have B side projects and they are the lead singer. You most be a great fan to know that.

I was great fan of Def Lep, since the 80's...., since first album 🌟🌟🌟✌️😎👍👍👍🎉🥂🍾,...... but unfortunately its over😖😖😖..., since the 90's its going wrong...., last album is really bad🤢🤢👎👎👎...., no power, no true rock energy, no creativity...., soft and boring....., compare to Pyromania and Hystéria....., its extrêmely boring😵😵🙄🙄😰😰...., i think Def Lep creativity is gone....,its totally over... its a pity....😢😢😰😰 !!!!!!!
