My friends and I think that it's better to build mines on non-fresh hills that can't be adjacent to an aqueduct. Otherwise it can be a terrace farm. If it's not a 2 prod terrace farm, I think it's better to build a mine or campus on the tile. Civ has enough food

Probably? But with the way Inca spawn those are regularly the tiles you want to fit districts on anyway.

Would you put Inca up there in terms of Multiplayer civs? For me it's one of if not the best

Was this game and all CPL games played with abundant tile yields or default?

    • @HersonCiv

Abundant resources are used by default in CPL. Setting resources to "abundant" and world age to "new" (more hills) are some of the settings used to ensure games can comfortably be completed in one sitting.

@@HersonCiv Thanks Herson. You have the best content for Civ 6 by far. Lots of entertaining but at the same time educational material. That combined with the fact that you consistently play at the top level, makes for a channel destined to grow.

Question: wouldnt it have been better to send the early trader straight to Auckland? It grants you a very early raod, speeding up any settler going along there. Also, internal routes would be diminishing return in comparison, since you 2nd city has so much food and prod income anyway? that way, the trader sat around for like 10 turns. (instead of gaining like 30+gold and a faster 3rd city)

In general for the early game, 1 food = 1 prod = 4 gold. Not only does that internal trade route I sent give 2 food and 1 prod right away (vs the 4 gold from trading to Auckland), by turn 29, it's giving 4 food and 5 prod. That's nearly 10x as much value as 4 gold per turn would be.
