Apart from the command tokens pointed out there's one more correction - 14:14 leadership is the only strategy on which you don't using a command token for the secondary ability. I appreciate the work you've done :)
Let me just tell you that this is the BEST tutorial about the game. Visuals are amazing and clear to understand. Especialy Game Phases. Love it and thank you for your effort. Greetings from Poland.
Wow 100% the best tutorial of twilight imperium. I'm new to board games but learned this and had a tough time teaching to my friends who are also new. I'll have them watch two and three of this. I think it'll help a lot thanks
Great video! I know this is a couple years late, but the only time fleet pool size can be temporarily ignored is when transporting units through a system, see rule 34.1. You can't break the fleet limit "until the end of your turn", you have to discard ships immediately if your limit ever drops. See rule 34.3. Again though, great stuff :)
So I played the game yesterday, 3 players (was supposed to be 4 but 1 cancelled). Was tricky for me at the beginning but I picked it the game mechanism up and won :) My race were The Universities of Jol-Nar, had 5 unit upgrades and many other non-unit technologies, got the assault cannon technology last round, but only won by 1 initiative XD in the final status phase I had 10 victory points and so did another player, but I had the Diplomacy strategy card and he had the Politics card, so just won XD definitely helped to play in learning the rules. Thanks again.
at 3:57 where you say 'once a player activates a system, no other play can activate that system until the next turn'; this is incorrect--only the player who activated the system is not allowed to activate that system again. The rule is that you cannot activate a system that already has one of your command tokens on, but you CAN activate a system that has other people's command tokens present. Otherwise, EXCELLENT videos, keep it up!
Whn i score with Number 8 of strategie, is the goal locked? like in the status phase i lock a goal with a plate of my Race. is it the same with Number 8?
Great guide,, made for a smooth transition for me to play this game. Quick question tho, on the "Technology" strategy card at 16:50 it mentions the primary player needs to use a command token & 6 resources to research a 2nd technology. Is this correct? I don't believe that command token is needed, but would like to confirm.
Fortress America is next. I've got a chunk already done, but delayed it to get Twilight Imperium 4E finished. There will be an new Axis & Allies game tutorial soon. I've gotten bombarded with requests for Axis & Allies WWI 1914 & the Anniversary Edition. I've scanned both boards for tutorials and made notes. Just not sure which one I will tackle first. These are both BIG axis & Allies games. This will be good practice for the inevitable Global Edition of Pacfic & Europe. These will probably be spaced out with other games to keep me from burning out. We'll see how it plays out.
I'd like to practice TI before playing with a group. Are there any software implementations of TI with AI so that I could practice alone and get used to the game mechanics?
Could someone help me understand the warfare strategy card? Why would you want to remove a command token from the board? Either you play the strategy card before playing on the board, in which case non of your command tokens are on the board, or you play this after having played, I'm which case you have no reason to use this because you have already finished playing on the board and in the next phase all command tokens return to your player board A similar situation arises with the diplomacy strategy card, which is either used before your turn when all of your planets are refreshed, or after your turn and before the status phase, when you have no use for refreshed planets
Just a couple of examples would be that you could produce units in a system and then move them into another system, or you could move a set of units twice. Warfare lets you get those extra tactical actions in.
Reading your questions further...it seems you may be under the impression everyone does one action per round. Actions are played until everyone passes. There are definitely times you want to refresh you planets so you can use them again in the same round.
At 3:49. I think this is incorrect. You cannot do another tactical action in a space with one of your own command tokens. If someone else has a command token there you can still activate that system. Per rules 5.2 and 5.3 of the rules reference.
Great videos but it seems that the technical quality of them is getting worse in time rather than the other way around. In the TI videos nearly all image transitions glitch somehow and the volume of your voice in this video is half of the first one and seems to get lower throughout the video? Just feedback btw, keep up the good work!

such a well designed game, there is so much going on and there are so much options but it still manages to stay simple in a way
Looking forward to your final entry! This is an amazing production! You should put this on BoardGameGeek!!!
Thank you! I've posted them to BGG.

Glad you had a good game, Zanuka! Happy that the tutorials helped out!
Great video! Those strategy cards are gonna be hard to recall what each one does and even harder to know which one to choose!
Great video, easy to understand and the best of it.... I understand you perfectly !👍
Love the Wagner's Siegfried's Death and Funeral March intros.

Same here but Sunday lol
Another great explanation of the gameplay thanks.
You're welcome!
16:23 So it's valid to increase fleet size in this redistribution?
Just cramming in the revision for this game watching this video as my first is tomorrow.
Have a good game tomorrow, Dave!
quick question - when do players activate the secondary-abilities of strategy cards?

Thanks for the catch! I put a correction note in the description.
So you and I have the same favorite movie I see... Excalibur is amazing - excellent taste :)

I wish you'd do Eclipse.

I believe only one command token is necessary.
Can you do a tutorial walkthrough for republic of rome?
Mirela Malnar interested for that one too!
great video, when will part 3 be available to watch?
Making good progress. I'm hoping Tuesday, maybe sooner if tomorrow's work goes well.
Why is the sound so low?
You're amazing! thanks ^^
You're welcome!
Can you please make a video on Axis and Allies Europe, Pacific, and the combined Global?

AFAIK the fleet size limit must be met immediately after the move, not at the end of a player turn ruclips.net/video/cX2oDlPIafE/видео.html
honestly no-one has time for 5s of advert, so a 30s intro is excessive.
