1. MCU Peter never truly struggles with money, he never has to start working at the DB for money. 2. Toby’s Spider-Man may not be very comic accurate himself but his universe is very VERY accurate, whereas Tom’s universe takes from Miles Morales for the most part
Mcu peter definitely struggle with money in civil war he ask Tony was his partnership did it have money evolved, Second even tho pepper potts gave mcu peter and his aunt a 1000$ check or whatever he didn't really want it plus mcu peter had to make his own gadget because he couldn't buy any
@@xenon6947If that’s the case then why aren’t him and Aunt May living in a fucking mansion instead of that shitty apartment. Also how is he Iron Boy when Tony has been dead for 2/3 of his movies.
nah raimi peter beats himself up, we just don't see it because we can't read his thoughts. best example i can think of is spider-man 2 before he quits being spider-man. it's not like in the comics peter is really exaggerated about it, it's called an inner struggle not and outer one.
Like I said in the video, the internal struggle is more so born out of Peter being frustrated rather than insecurity. That’s why he says “Am I not supposed to have what I want?” He’s less so unsure of himself and more so unsure of his circumstances. “Why is this happening to me” he says when he looses his powers. How can he doubt himself if most of the terrible things in his life happens TO him rather than because of him?
@chloeseph4055 isn't peter an insecure guy Both high school and outside ?? @@AntiChris84and yet he’s the one with the most character growth among the other predecessors. You can see his growth all throughout the movies, that already makes him better than Tobey’s version
@@garysanders7935 his three movies are never about him. In Homecoming the bad guy was an enemy of Iron Man. Same in Far From Home. Plus Far From Home gaslights Peter into being the new Iron Man. And No Way Home made come back the Sinister Six from other universes, so this was not a consequence of this Peter’s action (even the spell is due to Dr Strange not clearly explaining everything before casting the spell), and the stars were the other Spidermen.
I LOVE that this video exists! I absolutely love for videos that focus on defending Tom Holland’s Spider-Man since I think he’s super underrated and deserves way more respect. Tobey’s Spider-Man shouldn’t be held on the pedestal that it truly is considering how much him and his movies diverge from the source material. There are some things I don’t agree with, like the only really good characters being JJJ and Norman, or that Spider-Man 1 is dated, but for the most part, we were on the same wavelength. (That entire last portion of the video starting at 20:34 made me want to cry. That shit was so peak)
My only thing with the MCU spidey movies, specially No Way Home, is how empty the world feels, like at the beginning of no way home when peter and mj are traversing thru the city, the only people in the streets are Flash Thompson and some dude in their flower shop, like this is New York my guy, gimme at least 20 people in the background in every street
Its not Tobeys fault. He can definitely play a person with a bad temper or a witty character. He was wasted in these movies. In the first 2 he has no character but in the 3rd movie he is actually enjoyable.
Great actor, bad movies, it’s the same situation with Cavill: we judge them the best based more on the potential than on the actual movies. Even though their acting is impeccable, the writing sucks. Not saying you can’t like them, by all means, but I think it’s best if the Amazing movies stay where they are now, considering how they went
Looking at Ned wide eyed doesn’t really count as anger issues, Peter just needed one scene like spectacular where he’s angry about how being Spider-Man affects his social life
despite my nostalgia for the raimi trilogy (and love of certain stuff in it like the final 10-30 minutes of the first film)… you are 100% correct and i felt it in my bones after rewatching homecoming yesterday in the theaters
"nice costume! Did your husband make it for you?" Being the only good joke in the raimi trilogy. Yet... It's absolutely NOTHING compared to the Ultimate Spider-Man where he goes on a spree of fat jokes that are All shocking
Exactly. Glad to see someone other than Implicitly Pretentious defending MCU Spider-Man. I was even thinking of doing videos like this one, with very clear references from the comics that showcase how MCU Spider-Man is very faithful to them. Like the new post credit scene of NWH is ripped from the last panels of issue 28. And how the ATM robbers scene has camera angles that are ripped from issue 4. And many more….
Implicitly Pretentious did note that Andrew Peter is the most comic accurate of the three, he was way more arrogant and has a chip on his shoulder than Raimi and Peter
@@omarmansour6766 I think so but currently I am not sure whether Tom''s Spidey will receive movies because Sony and Marvel have different plans for the character and are currently getting an argument with each other. I though NWH was a good movie but it seems many detractors call it fanservice and nostagia bait because it relied on Sony Spiderman characters
I think what really hurts MCU Peter/Spider-Man is that most of the villains he faces have an axe to grind with against Tony Stark, or different variants of Spider-Man. That really hurts him. Spider-Man's villains are supposed to be Spider-Man villains. Also, the Peter/MJ romance literally comes out of nowhere. Homecoming was the best because it had the least plot-tanking holes, NWH is my favorite because of nostalgia, not gonna lie, and FFH was the beginning of the methodical strenuous death of Nick Fury's character. Fury should've known the truth about Mysterio. Talos should've known the truth about Mysterio. And Talos sure as hell shouldn't have doxxed Spider-Man.
I personally prefer Andrew Garfield. As he makes Spider-man a very cool superhero. But I do see where you coming at with Tom Holland’s spiderman being better then sam reimi (ima check out the reimi spiderman one of these days to see why tobey is a beloved spiderman
I prefer the Raimi films. Visually they are still pretty and looked more like a comic with all the fights and colors plus the villains are memorables AND have depth. Not all of them were evil like Sandman, he only wanted to see his daughter again. The goblin was amazing, a bit funny and crazy. Octopus was fun. Vulture was not as intimidating as them and Mysterio was lame. He has no powers, he just uses illusions with machines to lie to peoples. The real one could turn into anyone and we never saw his face, that was cool! No action scenes was that exciting in the MCU spidey films. The boat one with Iron man was fun but i can't remember the others. I still remember the awesome train battle between Peter and Octopus, his fights with the Goblin, his battle with Harry 🙂 I'm not saying they are better, i just enjoy Raimi trilogy mroe than thoses movies.
14:28. Yeah. I agee. It's the best of the 3. It's also the perfect balance betweem Raimi camp comedy, dark horror elements and the best suit of the trilogy. It's the perfect blend and the Sandman scene is emotionally affecting. I found myself laughing for a lot of this film.

@@cityrat3237 That's true, the whole reason I started liking Andrew was because he was the one I grew up with. TASM 1 is the very first movie I watched in theaters. So for me it's some nostalgia, some actual reasons why I enjoy the movies. For Tobey I accept any fanboying because he's a meme and he's the OG. I can't even bring myself to call Tobey Peter Parker sometimes even though I grew up on his movies. The whole trilogy just felt like Sam Raimi wanted to make a soap opera/Twilight counterpart with small doses of superhero story sprinkled in between.
Tom is the best, Homecoming, and Far From Home perfectly encapsulate the childish nature of Peter in high school and actually makes him feel like a high schooler. His trilogy concludes, leaving him at his lowest, May is gone, Tony is gone, and MJ and Ned don't know who he is. He's more mature and has learned two important lessons. With great power comes great responsibility, and every life is worth saving. 100% agree, great video
@StarWarsUnconditionalLover but he wasn’t mature enough. Part of the story is him maturing. You're right "with great power comes great responsibility" is something he knew, he says as much when May says it in NWH but he lacked the maturity to full process it. Civil War shows that he knows he has a responsibility with his powers but we don't get enough of him to full know. Homecoming he doesn't wanna be treated like a kid but learns to the friendly neighborhood spiderman, infinity War he tries to save his neighborhood and becomes an avenger but dies, in endgame his second father figure dies, which leads in FFH where he tries to onlu be the friendly neighborhood spider-man but he gets forced by everyone around him to have the responsibility to do it nonstop, but do to him fighting that and him coping with his grief he gives mysterio what he wants and leads into NWH which reminds him that being a hero requires sacrifice, and with great power comes great responsibility.
@StarWarsUnconditionalLover just because he was taught it by presumably Ben previously doesn't mean he fully understood. Tom's Peter experienced a lot over the span of six movies, which helped him actually understand.
@@sleepycatfilms my problem with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is that he isn’t special. As a character I don’t know anything about his origin story so I am indifferent to this character. What doesn’t help is that he is very boring, he never makes any wrong decisions. Every time that the scenario is against him, it’s never his fault. In Far From Home, Peter is under a lot of pressure because Nick Fury is a toxic leader who gaslights Peter when he declines to help (which IS NOT a selfish choice, he is just a kid and there is no reason he should carry all the Avengers team on his shoulder). Thus when he gives the glasses to Mysterio, this is a reasonable choice, because Peter was near to a burn out. The movie tries to force Peter to be the new Iron Man, but why him ? There are other Avengers and Peter is just a kid, so this is unfair to blame him for not answering the call. If Peter isn’t ready to be an Avenger, let this poor kid have a childhood. Also, when did Tony have the time to bequeath the glasses to Peter, whereas he was dead during the period between the snaps and Tony dies right after the battle. So why was Peter the heir of Tony, and not Pepper or his daughter, or even Rhodes ? The main problem I have with the MCU Spider-Man is that the MCU gives too much importance of making Spider-Man the new Iron Man while he would have been a better fit with a more street level story. And the situation in No Way Home is absurd. There were too many ways to prove that the Mysterio video was a lie : the glasses held footages of the camera and Peter could have shown the whole video, plus Quentin Beck was a former employee of Tony Stark so they could have found his true identity and proved he was an impostor, plus Talos could have helped because he was the one responsible of the whole situation, plus the other Avengers could have pled in his favor because he helped during Thanos’ attack, plus he could have asked for Strange to make everyone forget Mysterio’s video. Also, the spell wasn’t Peter’s fault, the fault is on Steve who didn’t explain to Peter what spell he would cast before casting it. My problem is each time Peter suffers consequences, it’s never his own fault, but rather the fault of someone else Peter takes the blame for. In Far From Home, it’s Nick Fury’s fault and Peter suffers from it. In No Way Home at first everyone is dumb, then it’s Strange’s fault, then it’s May who encourages Peter to help heal the villains. It’s never his own fault. Thus at the end when he sacrifices everything, it doesn’t feel earned. Because when we think about it, he shouldn’t be able to live in this situation because as everyone forgot him he doesn’t have an ID, a social security number, he can’t have a job, he can’t go to school. At this point he should be homeless. This MCU trilogy is a mess, it pushes this bland character into many contradictory directions just because the scenario needs it. And in the end he is forced to conform to what everyone wants him to be. He is not even able to have his own Sinister Six. Say what you want about Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. At least in these movies, Peter confronts a villain team that are the consequences of his choices. In No Way Home I don’t care about Peter fighting villains from alternate dimensions who don’t have a duality with this Peter. I don’t understand people who say MCU Spider-Man trilogy is better when this Peter is nearly never the center of those stories.
14:44. When Harry's eyebrow goes up, I laughed hard. This is like a dated soap opera. Also, this is a video about MCU Spider-Man trilogy vs Raimi and this is Tobey's response.
I disagree with almost everything in this video. First, Tom Holland in the majority of his movies is NOT a comic accurate Spider man. The original Spider man wasn't meant to be a flashy superhero, but a human one. The MCU version doesn't have that. He is just a generic superhero kid in action. Where are the human struggles? It's only in the second half of No way home that it feels like I'm actually seeing a Spider man movie. It's just a bad adaptation. On the other hand we have Raimi's Spider man. As you say he isn't 100% accurate but he captures the essence of the original material beautifully. He is human and relatable. This makes a good adaptation. When a reboot is able to make some creative decisions to differentiate itself from to original while maintaining its essence. So to call Tobey's version a bad adaptation let alone a bad character is just ridiculous. It means that you can't understand those movies in depth, so you are not in the position to criticize them. PS. At least you have a lot of courage to express such an unpopular opinion, I admit that.
Tom's Spidey has human struggles, you're just too goddamn lazy to realize it. Struggling with keeping a good balance between life as Peter and Spider Man consequences since the girl he liked moved away the awkwardness of trying to confess to another girl he likes, struggling to get out of Tony's shadow. People say he faces no consequences, but he does in every single movie, he has an arc in every single movie, Tobey doesn't have that. Tobeys choice to give up Spider Man was redundant because he was losing his powers, and btw, I can't find a guy that chases after a super toxic woman as relatable. Tobey didn't make that choice of his own accord
Yeah you're clearly biased. Holland's definitely has human struggles- he relied on his mentor, then watched him die, was trying to balance having a relationship and being Spiderman which leads to him making mistakes and in the process of making them right, his identity gets revealed. Then in attempt to fix that, he loses literally everything - his aunt dies and everyone else forgets his mere existence. He now has to earn for himself and is making his own suits etc. That's real and horrible pain. Holland's version of Spiderman was very human version imo - his dialogue throughout the movies felt natural and relatable, like a teenager who is trying his best to be a "friendly neighborhood Spiderman"
I am just a simple guy who enjoys both Spider-Man trilogies. I will admit that I enjoy the Ramit trilogy on a nostalgic level, I mean come on I was seven and a half years old when the first film came out. So of course, I'm gonna have a nostalgic bias. I think people in my age range look to the Rami trilogy the way they look at the Star Wars prequels. We love them as kids, then we grow up and we see the flaws but it doesn't deter that enjoyment. On a side note, both Revenge of The Sith and Spider-Man 3 were the first movies in their franchises I saw in theaters after seeing the first two on DVD. Well, my dad actually used some site online to show the first Spider-Man movie after it had its run in theaters, not sure it was Napster but it was semi-legit at the time. Now for the Watts/MCU trilogy, I think I latched onto Homecoming and Far From Home purely out of spite toward The Amazing Spider-Man films, most especially the second film. A stance I have since softened after No Way Home. Homecoming was such a breath of fresh air when compared to ASM 1, which couldn't decide to be like the comics or Rami. It offered a unique take on our beloved web-slinger that kept the spirit of the character from the comics while making him fit into the MCU. Far From Home was a bit of a step-down, it seemed to try to emulate Russo Brothers' directed Marvel films while being a followup to Homecoming. I never latched to that film the same way I did with Winter Soldier or Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, but it at least served as a transition between the fun John Hughes-inspired Homecoming and the more dramatic Endgame-ish No Way Home. Like Endgame, No Way Home fell into the same plot hole trap as the former. While I loved the third act where the Spider-Men come together, the plot could have been easily avoided if Peter and Stephen Strange had talked things over before casting the memory spell, as addressed in How It Should Have Ended. Much like how Avengers: Endgame would have been a much shorter movie if The Avengers simply just went back in time before Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones after The Snap and returned said stones to that point in time. I don't know, something about the writing for MCU films after phase 3 just doesn't seem tight anymore, where it's just getting easier for me to nitpick the storylines, except for Shang-Chi. So my feelings for No Way Home are complicated, on one hand, the nostalgia of seeing the Rami Goblin, Spidey, and Doc Ock made me feel like a kid again. On other the story just didn't fully work for me, I don't know if it's me in indoctrinated by Honest Trailers and HISE is killing my enjoyment of current MCU content with some exceptions (Loki, Ms. Marvel, and again, Shang -Chi). I am at least glad the movie at least gave closure to Tom's Spider-Man where he now is on his way to becoming the Web-Slinger of the comics, even if I didn't like how he got there exactly. I guess I'll always look to the Rami films in the same way that I look to the George Lucas-produced Star Wars films (I-VI), a product of one man's vision, and the MCU Watt films as the Disney trilogy, a trilogy that didn't quite hit the landing but made the best out its circumstances in the case of their finales. Though Watts comes stronger than the sequel trilogy for at least having a consistent visionary. I hope you enjoy my viewpoints Chloeseph, I may not agree with your stances on the Rami trilogy, but you made points that are yours and valid, mostly in the case of the romance department which I will admit fell short to its successors. I hope you have a good future on RUclips and can avoid the wrath of Browntable and Hitop films with your hot takes.
Bruh you need to put respeck on the raimi spiderman movies for being the very first of the 2000s wave of super hero movies, that continues today. That excludes the tim Burton batmans, but those were kind of their own genre. There was no template to follow on how a good super hero movie should be, the spider man trilogy pioneered pretty much every choice they made. All 3 were out before even iron man, think about that
that’s all true but that doesn’t reflect the films quality. you should be able to compare old and new films for how good they are now, not how good they were when they came out
@@JevinLevin right, I agree, but he doesn't talk about context at all as far as releases are concerned. I really like Andrew Garfield‘s interpretation of Spider-Man and Peter Parker as well to me he says more Whittier and less awkward and less geeky and more funnier and he seems more like a cool rebel. But I would have to say Tom Holland really does do a better job at capturing the essence of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield Spider-Man. He’s basically like both actors all into one.
Bro completely glosses over the fact the rami mj littlrey was toxic girlfriend like how is Peter a bad boyfriend if she uses jj to get back at him and tries to make him jealous 😅
Just by seeing the title I completely disagree. But after watching the full video I still fully disagree. But hey your video was pretty entertaining and you bring some things from the MCU SM trilogy that I liked and were kinda overlooked. But still You're wrong and I'm right I won Bye XOXO
I’m not to much into the comics I’ve only read over and over a couple that my mom gotten me when I was a kid but when I think of Peter Parker / Spider-Man both represent the character good in their own ways as when u talk about comics there have been more than interpretation of the character but relatively similar to each other. But when one of his first points is about his insecurity as a hero and he shows shots of spidey from the comics unsure about we he even bothers at being Spider-Man when there is a movie called Spider-Man 2 where that’s literally what a good portion of the film is about and that’s literally a big deal to him when he was about to kill who he thought killed uncle Ben in the first film, so it’s like did he not pay attention to the story that was happening in those movies. Then also may I point out in Spider-Man 2 he had problems with his abilities , even going on further in no way home he labels it as a web block which was kind of insinuation of Erectile dysfunction, which can be a pretty big insecurity. But I’m only half thru the video hope this dude realizes what he is talking about . Oh no the rounds of comparing each film to film was even worse far from home had one of the most boring stories only cool thing was that it was a Spider-Man movie and that they revealed his identity to the public since that was never done in the movie adaptations. And homecoming is really good actually so I ain’t feeling a way too much about that even tho his points are just like wha.. but far from home does have fun moments but as a movie it was a mediocre setup for no way home.
The Raimi stans are gonna track you down. I agree tho, Tobey is great but his movies are way overrated, and most people only like them because they're nostalgic for them. Overall, Tom's movies are just better, and often times the people who don't like them make it clear they didn't understand the movie whatsoever. Are they perfect? No, but no movie is. Does that make them bad tho? Also no.
Definitely agree, although I'm not a fan of MCU Spidey either. MCU Spidey understands the comics a lot more but not enough to be good Spider-Man rep. I'd say we still haven't really had good SPIDER-MAN movies yet. We're getting closer, but we haven't gotten close enough to the comics in my opinion.

best example i can think of is spider-man 2 before he quits being spider-man.
it's not like in the comics peter is really exaggerated about it, it's called an inner struggle not and outer one.

I think what really hurts MCU Peter/Spider-Man is that most of the villains he faces have an axe to grind with against Tony Stark, or different variants of Spider-Man.

I still remember the awesome train battle between Peter and Octopus, his fights with the Goblin, his battle with Harry 🙂

Things he already knew at the beginning of Civil War and somehow forgot for three movies after that but whatever.
I feel like the MCU spider man trilogy is supposed focus on him slowly losing everything in each movie. Just my thoughts
Your statement is very bold. Too bad nobody cares enough to read it
Tom's Spidey has human struggles, you're just too goddamn lazy to realize it.

I literally love Spider-Man 2002 because it’s so bad it’s good
I am just a simple guy who enjoys both Spider-Man trilogies.

FINALLY a human who agrees, i appreciate this video
And I appreciate you!
Both for how the raimi movies were making up the tropes instead of following them, or how the latest trilogy had the head start by having large parts of worldbuilding happening in other marvel movies
@@agularis_ yeah, valid point
To be honest, although in different ways, both Tobey and Tom are more Clark Kent than Peter Parker.
Holy Shit
Ok this version of spiderman didn’t learn bout consequences till now way home. Homecoming don’t can’t cuz he quickly got over it and crush on mj. 2 he didn’t really feel it cuz he saved tht woman life on bridge. He only gets it at the end when everyone forgets Peter exist which they didn’t elaborate on so even when he gets a consequence it doesn’t make sense. The aunt may one was good but it wasn’t impactful just sum they stole out of insomniac and let’s be honest if it wasn’t fr tobey and Andrew the movie wouldn’t have been great maybe ok but that’s it. Just ok. Except fr homecoming and when spiderman meets the other spideys I sdifnt feel any reason to watch them other than hey it’s Spider-Man. Spider-Man isn’t broke. Spider-Man is spoiled. Spider-Man doesn’t have consequences. Spider-Man stories don’t even make sense sometimes. One minute he loving it and the next he’s hating it and towards the end it’s I have no choice Spider-Man forever now peter Parker is dead and now they gotta explain how everyone actually forgot how Peter doesn’t exist at all I thought they would just forget the 2 was him but no they made them completely forget who he is. He just feels like the amazing Spider-Man 2 except more child like. I’m not saying he ain’t good he great spiderman but he ain’t better than raimi. He for sure better than Andrew’s not saying Andrew wasn’t great but it’s also the story and the characters at the end of the day they are acting out these character so it’s still there fault and I’m srry none don’t touch Tobey and that’s because of Tobey and Sam raimi. He’s actually felt like spiderman. He has an actual story from point A to point B. Everything makes sense sense except for his and mj relationship and let’s be honest in the other ones to they barely make sense either but guess wat thts just how it’s rolling.
As a Raimi fanboy, I get what you're trying to say, truly (well, most of what you're saying). But Implicitly Pretentious put those thoughts about stan/steve accuracy better. (Hope I don't get shit on - this is a place for expressing opinions right)
This is objectively true, yes.
Both have their pros and cons but both will always be Spider-Man
Also u should check out Legends Production Defense of MCU Spider-Man Bc he goes over every critique from different you tubers
Compare them is not my way i love all spider man equally but when it comes to movies it goes to Spiderman 2 2004
Well it's just that MCU spiderman is made for new generation audiences. They needed characters to relate to them. The casting makes that pretty obvious. I'm and adult. I can't relate to any of these characters. I would if I was like 15.
As a MCU spidey defender till death... this is a really wild take wich i dont even i agree, and i adore the MCU trilogy
He likes Tom Holland getting backshotted
Tom Holland is the least accurate to the comics in all aspects

How so. Explain.
Nah bro I couldn’t stay up for far from home that movie was so boring for a sequel 😭
Real wey.
When i watched raimi's trilogy(well, the first 2) i saw a comic coming to the big screen, when i saw MCUs "peter parker", a tony stark fanboy, weak and stupid, i quit watching marvel movies, was too much character profanation for me!
Psst, 616 Peter is a human torch Fanboy. Tony pretty much fills that mentor roll in the mcu
@@okand6770 Are you CRAZY? Peter and johnny were rivals in the old times, then they became FRIENDS! Not even near that ridiculous "robin" version of him, idolizing stark!
@docblade3270 read the ditko run. Johnny was his idol when he was just starting out. THEN they became rivals after Peter found out there's no salary for joining the F4.
@@okand6770 Serious, i read the comics since the classics from the 60's, and REALLY don't remember anything like that! They even fought sometimes because teenager competition, not doubting you, but is something new for me!
@docblade3270 it's one of those things that's very overlooked
i love tobey spider-man is better in my honest opinion i think spider-man 3 is a 9 out of 10 for me i know the majoritiy hate it that movie i enjoy it that it disappointed me at all in my unpopular opinion but i respect your opinion
@chloeseph4055: I never realized how quietly immature and unlikable Tobey Maguire was in these films.
I don't agree but.... Godly.
*Raimi Spider-Man:-*
*>Creates his own suit*
*>Can naturally shoot webs like a SPIDER-Man*
*>Doesn't have any allies, always works solo like canon Spider-Man*
*>Black Suit Theme is GOATED*
*>Has the most iconic versions of Doc Ock&Goblin*
*>Has a badass personality as Spider-Man, "I guess you haven't heard, i'm the sheriff around these parts"*
*MCU Spider-Man:-*
*>Tony created the Spider-Man costume*
*>Needs Web Shooters to mimic what a Spider does naturally*
*>Constantly relies on the Avengers and Stark Tech*
*>His Theme Song is lame*
*>Everything that happened in the last 2 movies are 100% his fault and needed Raimi&TASM Spider-Man's help*
*>Has the personality of a little child "mr stark wow your stuff is so kewl, oh Dr Strange SIr Sir, this mirror dimension is cool!"*
No way you tried using web shooters as a reason😂
If Peter relied on stark tech he would've died to vulture in homecoming
He doesnt rely on the avengers anyway considering the fact he wants nothing to do with them hence why he chose not to join them at the end of homecoming.
Honestly all of these are poor nitpicks. If we're talking abou faults, are we going to talk how it's Peter's fault the symbiote influenced him to terrible things? He knew it was addictive and could increase his aggression but he let it happen.

5:25 "a smart way of keeping the comedy" I mean don't get me wrong but he's supposed to funny or dorky if you want but not a clone who stutters every time he opens his mouth also in a scene from homecoming he was clearly waiting to get out of class for Daddy Stark's hi-tech suit lmfao so being Spider-Man is not a burden for him but a distraction after class okay okay...6:00 nu-uh no he's not poor lol when you were talking about Tobey didn't show you how poor he is but okay 😂 Tom has almost become dependent on technology and the worst thing is that throughout the film we talk about costumes as being Stark's property it's an honest it's not in all Spider-Man comics also that Iron Man is necessarily involved 6:08 yea haha I mean a red (pink) and black Spider-Man other que superior Spider-Man okay... 6:14" is he deeply insecure? O B V I O U S L Y ~!" wym ?? naah he just makes unforgivable mistakes 6:17 and no it's not bad luck...like giving a stranger called Mysterio the special glasses that Stark gave him and because of that SHAZAM! NO WAY HOME HE LOSE HIS AUNT 😡🤬because of this stupid mistake BUT tobey letting a criminal pass most of us would do that but won't expect uncle ben to die 6:20 an even worse temper ? my ass Tobey has more personality than ToM HoLlaND he stutters all the time 6:42 murder him haha naaahh he laughed at Tom's blows and even managed to cope when Tom wanted to kill him while Tobey 3 blows brought out the nice Norman wtf ! 7:37 okay now ya moaning wth haha but you just talk quickly let us process first 😂 8:00 bro just loves Tom's face be fr Tom is not even mature Spider-Man far from home looks like a series episode Disney of any series than an authentic Marvel movie
I agree with Marcus on his quote but I hate that post. It's because he sounds like a 12 year old girl tryna be cool by saying "I will not accept any replies to this post". Hes just gonna post his opinion on the internet (that nobody asked for) and act like people even cared in the first place. It just annoys me.
People want to hate but literally the only thing to harp on is that he didn’t make his suit….. WOMP WOMP
1:09 comic accurate ?? Excuse me but the elements on which you are basing are not true I mean 1:12 to 1:17 is he witty? I mean yes I mean not like in the comics but neither is Tom Holland we can say that Tobey is serious by not going to say "hey Doc you drink sea water right? it's not too salty for you "💀 or something like that but he sometimes makes jokes and I remind you that Tom Holland doesn't make any except perhaps in Avenger Civil War where I think he is better exploited btw than in his films solo so if not Tobey not tom either 2:17 um yh you got that one right but in Spider-Man 2 also when he spoke to his inner Uncle Ben "he said he was not up to the task and that he is not than Peter Parker" 🤷🏼♂️ where in Spider-Man 1 where he didn't want to talk to Mj and so Harry did 3:02 haha wym?? HE MAY NOT HAVE A BAD TEMPER IN YOUR VIEW BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF TIMES WHERE HE GETS ANGER without The symbiote! when he demanded his $3000 or when he argued with JJ or even when he was looking for flint 3:34 that you listed and not actually Peter parker himself Tobey still manages to get 4 or 5 of the 6 3:50 he's supposed to be an interpretation but okay he still manages to do a good Peter Parker 🗣 🔥
Didn't Tobey beat himself up so hard he literally lost his powers for a minute?
Nah more like his lack of horniness for MJ caused his powers to stop working
I could't disagree more to a video, but good effort on the vid.
Imo Willem Dafoe was the best part of Spider-Man 2002 and no way home and a lot of why I find 2002 enjoyable was because of his goblin 👺
Bro completely glosses over the fact the rami mj littlrey was toxic girlfriend like how is Peter a bad boyfriend if she uses jj to get back at him and tries to make him jealous 😅
Must be one of those days where RUclips recommends me trash opinions.
And you took the time out of your day to watch the video and leave a comment 😭😭💀😭
Just by seeing the title I completely disagree. But after watching the full video I still fully disagree. But hey your video was pretty entertaining and you bring some things from the MCU SM trilogy that I liked and were kinda overlooked.
But still
You're wrong and I'm right
I won
Bye
XOXO
I grew up on the Tobey movies and still think Tom is better so you’re wrong he’s right
I’m not to much into the comics I’ve only read over and over a couple that my mom gotten me when I was a kid but when I think of Peter Parker / Spider-Man both represent the character good in their own ways as when u talk about comics there have been more than interpretation of the character but relatively similar to each other.
Are you like 5 years old or something this is such a nothing comment 💀💀💀
Nope. It is not. And Raiml's was far from perfect..
Also no.
Tom is the best. The new trilogy will be inspired by the Raimi films and the 90's series. James Wan is set to direct.
I just want to say that mj is an even worse girlfriend in the toby movies but other then that great video!

Agreed. The best IMO. Tom Holland was accurate without trying to be.

Tom Holland has to be my favourite Spider-Man of all time
Definitely agree, although I'm not a fan of MCU Spidey either. MCU Spidey understands the comics a lot more but not enough to be good Spider-Man rep. I'd say we still haven't really had good SPIDER-MAN movies yet. We're getting closer, but we haven't gotten close enough to the comics in my opinion.
