You know, I've been listening to this non-stop since it came out and I realized something: I really like your narrative videos. Normally if I pull up a music video and it starts with people talking or wind blowing or whatever, I might watch it once, but then I'll go find an audio only version to listen to. I find all of that other stuff distracting. With both this and Sunken, yes, I bought the audio files (half artist support, half 'if my 'net goes out I want my music!'), but if I want to listen to them, I go to the actual music videos first. The sound of the waves, the sand, baby Colm calling to his parents...it adds something rather than detracting. I don't know how you do that, but it's wonderful.

This song is beautiful. As someone who had big dreams of what I was gonna do failed to achieve those dreams, it’s hits hard. “Where’s the bright eyed lad?” resonates so well with me. I’m happy where I’m at. My wife and I just had our first child and I love my job. But I always wonder how my life would be if I’d managed to achieve the dreams I dreamt as a kid
