Still being marketed in the UK but discontinued in the USA for some reason probably marketing. Mechanically it's a Pfaff Passport 3.0 many singer models are pfaff models with different styling now (Pfaff Singer and Viking are all the same company now). They may have felt that offering an IDT model at a lower price point was cutting into Pfaff sales. UK Singer distributors mention a 2022 model and are still getting it in stock so clearly it's still being made we just can't get it in the US anymore.
I live in uk and have just..2023 .purchased this as my secind machine for piecing and bought it on the strength if the even feed mechanism. I like tge way it sews very much . But instruction book leaces out a few necessary instructiinswrt size of bobbins ehich I had to fathom out eventually....but loving it!.
I just had the opportunity to be introduced to this machine today. Many features on this machine are the same as the pfaff. I wouldn’t give 2 cents for the newer singers, but this one is impressive. I would buy this one!
Well, turns out they are closing them out. We have them for $299 with free shipping while they last. Just an FYI. Contact the store to check availability. 405-853-6801.
Have just taken out of box in uk moon thread does not fit and can't get it to sew. Upper and under threads both loose can anyone help. Been threaded numerous times bobbin in and out still the same
I’m loving all the cool new features especially the IEF and tie off features. Higj end features without the inflated price. Do you guys have a payment plan or layaway policy? I’m on disability bc of two rare conditions and enjoy sewing when I’m not in excruciating pain. Thank you for your reply.
This model's greatest feature is how light and small it is, yet well made. It is a machine to take to class or travel with. This could be your regular machine, but it's a little smaller than the full sized machines being made.
It needs automatic thread cutter. $399.00 is to much for this without this option that other machines for that price have I will keep my brother se400 make no mistake I like the machine! $299.00 is a better price.

Is this still a thing? I just saw them for $799 on the singer website. That's what brought me to this video.
Have this machine. Absolutely love the integrated even feed! Every sewing machine should have it. Too bad it’s been discontinued.
thanks for this video! I am in love with this machine now.
Hands down for not having it available

Very interesting. This is great that the upper feed mechanism works with the feed dogs. And all metal inside. Great news....

Nice machine! How about doing a free giveaway to a lucky winner to your subscribers!
Can you get a single stitch plate for this, or could you use the one for the passport 2?
The Passport 2.0 will work
I would love this machine if it had the alphabet and script sewing!
Where is the case handle for this new Singer Featherweight?
the case is off to the left side of the video, and the handle is there it was just not highlighted in this walk-through
The handle is actually on the machine. With the case on the machine , the handle is accessible thru a cut out in the case.
It's like Pfaff that i want because Of IDT systems (pfaff) thing.. And i discovered they are the same company
Are these available in the USA
Hi Rosi! I'm sorry, but this machine has been discontinued.
@@PrairieQuilt THAT... is very bad news.... oh well, I will search for one of the originals then...😉
It would be nice if it had an alphabetical embroidery 🧵 as well
Is this sewing machine available?
I think I need to change my sewing machine.. I hope we have here in the Philippines..
Hi po.. Nakabili na po b kau ng ganitong machine? Magkano po?
This is an impressive machine!
If only this featherweight had large harp like the old ones

This is just like the Pfaff passport 2.0
Pfaffs and Singers are owned and made by the same company.
Ow.. That's why
Ron Dalby Yes SVP is the of the company, which stands for Singer Viking Pfaff.
How much does it weigh?
Just under 14lbs
About the weight of a feather.
it is an insult to featherweight's, IMHO

This machine seems to be a duplicate of a Pfaff machine! Why is that?
I could not answer that question.Maybe someone at Singer could address, but I do not know who to tell you to ask.
Pfaffs and Singers are owned and made by the same company.
I saw it and it is priced at $399.00. $499.00 is a joke
