I have a motive pump as you do. EXCEPT I don’t know what size the adapter is for the reservoir cap. Would it say on the motive cap ?

Just noticed the fork lift shelf you have in the background. Does it run? On these 50+ year old gems, if I have a gas tank issue, I think I would rather just get a new one rather than trust the cleaning methods. I spend way more time than I should trying to solve all the many 'developments' as you say. I am curious about the Master situation in this video. My 73 Super has a persistent soft pedal that is driving me crazy. It is my wife's car, so you know I have no margin for 'doing it right'. Great video as always.

First to the fork lift shelf... I have 2 lol the one in the corner is a 67 Clark and it indeed runs clutch started to act up so I parked it there and well it kinda got boxes in ..the other one is a 47ish Clark and it also runs... As for the gas tank on the type 3 there is no re pop (new) available so the option would be putting a bug/ghia tank in as they will work except you lose the return nipple (Not being used) but I like optionsand the fuel injection baffle as well as needing to extend/move the fill and EVAP lines total man hours of me actually doing anything to clean it was like 30min the chemicals did the rest... Also I will have a update drive video tonight on the brakes as they were bothering me and they are perfect now... Long story short I messed up and still had air in the rears did an adjustment and another bleed and rock solid now

I think I say this in most of my videos when it comes to brakes and I am not excluded from this is strictly out of experience... Typically but not always... if you're having breaking issue it's installation error loose line, loose or failing brake switches, miss adjustment on the drums... If you are able to pump the pedal up and it hold pressure without sinking back to the floor You have air in the system... If you pump the pedal up and it slowly goes to the floor you have a leak including bypassing seals in master ( leaking out of the back where it attaches to the firewall... Hydraulics are pretty simple they've been used for years and those are really the only two diagnosis that you need to know what problem you are fighting

I have a feeling you spent more than 150 labor vs a new tank :)

It took about a week to do... But I only have 30min total labor hours in it so not close to 150$ as I don't bill unless I'm actually working... Also not to be rude but if you can find a new tank for a type 3 for 150$ please share the link as I would definitely buy it as I look and isp is the only company that carries and 0 stock as well as 200$ + shipping... So please if you do have a link or a company that has new in stock let me know... Thank you

I am also very aware you can put a 150$ type 1 tank into a type 3 but you will lose the fuel injection baffle that's inside as well as the return line nipple (not currently used) but have the option if needed in the future
